There is another issue that has appeared a week back.
Checking vgas in the database, in order to find the most popular with max HW points awarded PER BENCHMARK,
I observe that both columns - one with world records and the other with points awarded in any card - have disappeared.
This is serious.
It makes comparison impossible.
Also if someone is looking to buy a few popular cards for max HW points, it is not possible anymore.
Some explanation please ?

My wife has a lady friend that lives in New Jersey, American citizen, that comes to us every summer. I will ask her if it is not too much of a hassle for her to bring them over.
I will let you know.

Hope things get sorted but maybe not the best way to take on this sort of thing on without even notifying anyone and also not involving team captains.
Can't really blame the coders , this had to be an executive decision ?
In full honesty, there are some strong points in that post.

Nah. Somethings still up. What happened to Ozzie? Disappeared from team completely.
Makes me wonder what else has disappeared that I can't readily account for.
And this is a small team. I cannot believe that a team as large as OCN loses so few points.
It was about time captain.
Thank you.

I got some numbers in from Tim regarding Warp9 Systems. Tim will be doing the same for Hellas , Madshrimps and Overclock.net
Deleted user account zerod points: 2427
Terminated Benchmarks ghost points: 760
Pcmark05 ghost points: 4710
With BenchMate ghost points:
Wprime 1024: 1030
Wprime 32: 1090
CB R11.5: 1100
CB R15: 1252
CB R20: 995
SuperPi 1M: 725
Superpi 32M 764
14.000 points, give or take.
Not enough to explain.
272.000 points prior to Spit's entry to the Team.
281.000 ( approximately ) after.
281K minus 14K = 267K.
Currently 257K.
Something is missing or is wrong.

We are all supporters in here.
This site is our hobby and we like to evolve with it.I feel very happy whenever i see an improvement.
But on the other hand ...
Isn't a 4 year period enough ? shouldn't there be an obvious sign of "things getting better" ?When you have to struggle , to simply manage to have a clear image of your personal points , what about team points in total ?
Is there any team captain in here (i'm talking for the big teams) that can state with confidence , that he is 99% sure about his team points being calculated properly ?
George
Do you know how many years back , i wrote in a similar thread , that there are team power points and globals calculated in team total points from terminated benchmarks ?
So , all these years Team ranking is altered.
P.S.
Where is the Team Captains-only communication thread ?Tasos, I know first hand that you are a gentleman, a dedicated member and wise man.
Respect only.
Thank you for your efforts.

Well
It would a nice feature if at least the team captains had access to point recalculation system.
At least have some facts , elements , stats , graphs ... anything , to have a clue what's going on ???
There was a time in the past where we had access to almost everything (point wise).
We had charts saying "you lost a point there ... you gained a position there ... and so on.
Now we are living the "dark era" of the hwbot point system.
We are obliged to assume that everything is working fine and also trust all automated point calculation .... by not having access to anything.
Am i wrong ?
Depends on what is the current policy of HWBOT.
I sincerely hope that the " DARK ERA " of point system, as stated, does not become an unpleasant "suspicious" thought in many members minds because then we are entering an era of mistrust and disbelief, which is the last thing needed.
I strongly wish to believe that the Administration of this site will not allow such a thing to happen.
Let's be a bit more patient and see the final outcome before jumping to conclusions.
I am trying to be a supporter here. Think positive and let things evolve hoping for the best.

K We are cleaning up and are recalculating once more
To give a few examples:
HWBOT prime hasn't been supported for ages but still gave Team points for some teams, similar story for PCmark05, SuperPi 8M, Time Spy Physx, XTU,... Old HWBOT still gave a lot of points, but it was hit and miss
Users that left HWBOT still gave Team points in certain benchmarks, these are being zerood. No submissions of present users will be deleted. But it is not logic that a user deletes his account, but still would contribute to a Team.
Is HWBOT certain that the code ( an old code indeed - is that SQL ? ) operates correctly ?
These massive ups and downs can't really be justified.
Also, it would be nice if you provide to the community a final clear picture of what stays and what goes.
Most of us are pretty much confused.
Thank you kindly.

Any possible time frame speculation for the final outcome ?
Things seem to be a bit messed up

Same applies to Warp9 systems.
We had 273.000
A new member with lots of points joined the Team, which should bring us to 279.000 approximately.
During the weekend we fell to 225.000
Now we stand at 262.000

For respect to the other members you should remove this scrore, which is simply impossible with the given HW and cooling used. Just my humble opinion.
