Anyone have luck running four sticks on this board yet? Just threw in two more sticks of B-Die (four total)... trying to figure out what I need to change to get them to do the 3866 12-12-12 or so that I was doing with two sticks.

I was told that it shipped today and I should have tracking this evening or tomorrow. Last week they told me it would ship Friday or Monday...

As always... amazing chip and awesome persistence. Keep up the good work!
AWESOME!!!! O_oDid you try to delid this chip?
der8auer posted a review of delidding 3770K and many guys lost 300MHz. But now with Skylake we have the paste (grizzly) and the knowledge what causes the MHz loss and how to prevent it. Maybe its worth to try after you finished benching with this chip

I would not risk this gem. Paste hasn't changed that much

Bad news Mr. SC. I can't vote again

Might want to try some sort of memory heater. GTX 480 hair dryer still available?
-
Did you have the glue removed?

I wish XS itself wasn't practically dead at this point. I feel like the Bot's forum took its place in the OC spectrum.

Thanks for looking in!

actually it just killed my card it definitely doesn't work for HD5850

Looking for one of these... 6.5 or so light single core benchable (1M, valid a bit higher).
Let me know what you have and how much you want.

I'm taking a chance.. Heating them up with hair dryer and gluing both chips back together with black rtv gasket. If they don't boot.....
That long perpendicular scratch across 6700k is weird. Can't help but think its a crack. The ihs slides forward when clamping. Also the length of it is out of ordinary.
To avoid sliding it forward, loosen the Torx screws, place the chip and close the clamp, then tighten the Torx down.

Hey everyone I'm new here. I just got my 6700k in the mail today ! Batch# L549C881 and I want to know if you can tell anything by just knowing the batch number or do I have to test it myself ? Im still waiting for my ram and gpu to come so I cant power up until I get that ram.
I stopped updating the spreadsheet on the main page because it came so apparently that batch has pretty much nothing to do with the performance on these chips.

I wonder if the die is smashing with glue off... as @Schmuckley showed, they're extremely easy to shatter.

Possibly! You have one hanging around?

I ordered on their US site. Spoke to the Skype support line yesterday and she said the order was received and it should ship today or Monday.

Wish me luck... I just ordered a v3.0 to replace my 2.5
I wish I didn't love my 2.5 so much. I hate giving them my business Fortunately, I'm pretty well protected with Paypal.

It's definitely some sort of setting. It wouldn't even boot 3200 with my settings for 3866, even with the tWRWR_dd and _dr set to 8.
EDIT: Tried RTL's 49/50 6/6... going to keep trying more in a minute.
