Sadly the new installer is not much better than the old one. They all have in common that they can't handle the many Cinebench files.

I would recommend going for an msi package rather than 3rd party installers, but if that's by choice you can archive the  big folders (i.e Cinebench) then use the already bundled 7z to unpack it.

Thanks, unfortunately it didn't help as much as I would of hoped. Was this a one off, or constant with this setup? I don't have a 660 but I have a 680 that I could test with 8700K under XP.

IMHO it would be best to behave like original Aquamark - set default settings on auto but when hardware can't make it, lower down to it's capabilities. So you can't lower settings below default for capable hardware (like things are now) but so you can run it on older hardware with lowered settings by Aqua itself.

I'll provide any help I can to fix this, just PM me.

I see, this does remove a layer of security, will see what compromise I can make. Also, do you happen to have a list of common issue reports? I can remember the issue with cyrillics in paths and the file size (can default to lower quality and also check result file if it goes over a threshold), anything else that comes to mind?

  4. @suzuki Thanks for the mention but I don't belong next to some of the big names of OC, I'm merely a hoarder, and I see there's less of those nowadays. I barely have any hardware left, but I will try and bench it before we part ways. Since I'm still a moderator, I will start by helping a bit on a daily basis. Also need a crash course on what's happened in the past 4 years :)
