  1. Roman also had the idea of threads not core count... Might shake up the ranking though
  2. For users with Cezanne AMD CPUs and that have SPD readout problems try this CPUZ Beta version: https://download.cpuid.com/betas/cpuz_196_86.zip Thanks to the swift reply from Franck from CPUZ
  3. Sadly not new at all. Easiest fix (till the new wrapper is working) is to select briefly another CPU, let it recalculate, edit to the right CPU and it's okay
  4. We are not gonna list different A7V8X X models if the mainboard manufacturer includes other variants of the KT400 chipset... that would be madness
  5. Geek 3 & 4 cleaned, Geek 5 50% If any issues or errors on my behalf (pm me)
  6. Don't forget the CPUZ validaiton link !!!
  7. Don't forget the CPUZ validaiton link !!!!
  8. Stop reporting over and over Anem, it has been verified and the score will stay. There was no link requirement back then. I added a random link myself as the Bot no loner accepts PCmark10 without one. Score is approved and stays!

  10. From the 1st of January ( due to issues with some submissions end of 2020 ) We added that each submission must include a Geekbench 3 verification link. the below can be found in the changelog of the Geekbench 3 Rules Jan 01, 2021: New rules format release - Version 3.4.4 or newer only - Verification link required Jan 01, 2020: Full desktop screenshot (no more clipping) Oct 27, 2013: Initial release so if you have uplaoded your score to the Geekbench website, plz add it to your submissions via the Edit button on the right. Lemme know if you got the links added.
  11. The solution is simple, check the rules before you bench! Similar to checking the tires of your car before driving 1000Km...
  12. The "new" rules were announced when we introduced the new simplified format dating back to the beginning of the year. Jan 01, 2021: New rules format release - Version 3.4.4 or newer only -Verification link required Jan 01, 2020: Full desktop screenshot (no more clipping) Oct 27, 2013: Initial release If you don't check them before benching you will get surprises like this...
  13. Seems indeed pretty dramatic that one out of 4 subs does not have a link as stated in the rules for all submissions from the 1st of January 2021. I'm reporting all of the ones without a validaiton link, even the ones with the link visible in the browser. I can not retype everything myself, will take me easily over 4 hours to wade through Geek 3 Multi so its either up to the Team Captain or the user to correct.
  14. yes, if you spot just report, I'll have a check myself
  15. Don't forget the CPUZ link people!!! Stage 1: AIDA64 Read Bandwidth (OPEN) Use version AIDA64 Extreme from the compo package with key: RWN9Y-MUBDB-8L1WQ-7D2P1-Y87C8 Dual Channel Submissions only. Screenshot with CORSAIR desktop wallpaper as background; AIDA64 score, CPU-Z 1.96.1 CPU tabs for Processor, Memory and SPD. CPUZ 1.96.1 or newer Validation link is required, registered on your HWBOT username
  16. That's just the thing with Option 4 that we want to avoid. 2 CPU entries will be created: i9 12900K & i9 12900K(8P + 0E) 1) i9 12900K - this would compete automatically in the 16C ranking 2) i9 12900K(8P + 0E) - this would compete in the 8C ranking (the user would have to manually disable the E-Cores in BIOS to participate) So you might get double the fun for the same prize ? It is really no matter how we approach it, comparing apples with oranges
  17. Thats why I'm in favor for Option 4: We list the 12900K twice. This solution would be a mix of #2 and #3. We list the 12900K as: - i9 12900K (8P + 8E) [this would be in the 16C ranking] - i9 12900K (8P + 0E) [this would be in the 8C ranking, the user would have to manually disable the E-Cores in BIOS to participate] Only advantage I see in that option is that you will get twice points for the same processor... We have no control over marketing or creative PR people you know that Al. Perfect example the WR on the Crucial kits, HWBOT apparently certified the BabyJ score in their markting slides, while we in fact pulled it and it never came back ?
  18. There's more to it than just the sum of the cores. It is like Mat stated above, important will be how well the task scheduler/benchmark can address them ( hopefully Win10 will support it properly too ). My point of view is we can't really add the cores and compare these new CPU gens to current core models.
  19. A) 1 SPD tab is enough, we have CPUZ validation for Stages 1 & 2, BM for stage 3 B) Only valid for CPU and motherboard
  20. AMD Radeon RX 6800M @ HWBOT
  21. That should be normal that you can't download anything from the forum if not logged in...
  22. yes, first stage due to late announcement is a bit longer than the planned 2 weeks
  23. it is indeed for AM2/+ CPUs only...
  24.
