Let's have a look at your scores : 980X @ 4292MHz with 1x 5870 got 103k --> your entry in between LN2 cooled cards that run over 1400 core. Your validated score is 90K. This is a huge jump for just a reboot. Don't you think it is a bugged run ? with 1x 4890 got 91k--> you even beat Kingpins LN2 card on stock cooler with 1x 5670 got 5,5k --> score is still validated, yet it's another bugged run for sure. Ryba runs 1500 core and you 850 ? I really don't think the reboot trick is that good... sorry before complaining get the facts straight sir.

The official HWBOT OC Challenge August 2010 thread.
Don't get me started , no idea how it scales with more CPU speed... this is all the H50 could handle... Maybe a run next week on Gamer's Phase, but don't think so... far too much review work here :nana:

mrinfinit3 - GeForce GTX 470 @ 808/897MHz - 56552 marks 3Dmark 2001
Try running XP for 01, not enough CPU power, does it revert to 2 X 8X when SLI ? or does it stay at 2 x 16X PCI-E ?

Hardware sharing- by people who should know better
For 3D no GPU sharing, 2D no CPU sharing, think that's more than enough, otherwise with a golden CPU /GPU you will see your team in top 3 eg by just changing rams in the setup...or swapping a motherboard... Group benchsessions with the same hardware are really not a good idea for multiple submissions for the same hardware...

Hardware sharing- by people who should know better
So take a look at the ATI 4290 top 3 in 3Dmark 06, that's an incredible coincidence. All polish , all different teams, but same background & hardware being used, Take note on the time of two scores... not that much apart. Define what's obtaining the score by yourself ? Pressing the start button for the benchmark on a preset setup ? That's an absolute no no to me... It will have to be some sort of ID identification via the software so it's easier to analyse for the moderators... Pictures of the CPU batch and or GPU (serial nr etc) with an added note of the name of the bencher, bench date etc... Darn this wil get complicated... I just want to beat Marc Beier's scores , that's all...

Hardware sharing- by people who should know better
Ending up with zero points is not as light as it initially seems; It might even stop the continuation of the hobby... I'll start a new thread on the ATI 4290 3dmark06 score... some wicked Polish team benching going on there

The official HWBOT OC Challenge July 2010 thread.
Each month is different Marc. Okay this month is a bit special as these rams have never been mega popular. But apparently there are still some users that owned them and dusted them off. Or got them somewhere... like Knopflerbruce mentioned, you can get loads of this stuff pretty cheap on Ebay and sortlikes... FYI it's not always about setting new records, it's about the fun and the experience... Keep up the monthly competitions... eagerly awaiting August...
