  1. Just here to confirm what the others have stated about the come-backiness of this problem.
  2. This was your 1,000th submission to hwbot! Your lunacy is now official.
  3. Hey trodas - next time just show the memory tab in CPU-Z instead of the mainboard tab, and you'll be sittin' pretty. Give 'er another go!
  4. ...Since I installed custom kernel and rom (UberCM 3.1), I get "Validation failed: Processor is required for 2D benchmarks!" And in the Leaderboard screen, everything under Processor, Core and Family is "n/a" although it does say that the HWBOT crew has been notified to add my device. It is, however, the very same device from this sub: http://hwbot.org/submission/2940998_ Cheers!
  5. Ticket ID: 1910 Priority: Low Please add ASRock AM1H-ITX. Thanks! Specs: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AM1H-ITX/
  6. Just wanted to pop in and say I love these little Team Cup warm-ups! I've been out of the house over the past number of weeks due to renovations, so have been unable to participate in the March or April warm-ups, but I would like to lend a voice of support for doing them again before next year's Team Cup too. Cheers!
  7. No special treatment - Powerstrip 3.90 just plain worked with the last XP x86 WHQL drivers - 2.13.something I believe. The stock clocks on my P650 are 190/275.
  8. Congratulations to all teams participating in this fun little contest! And of course, a big congrats to Hellas - I was particularly impressed by your monster Stage 3 result!
  9. Ticket ID: 1852 Priority: Low http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Opteron%206124%20HE%20-%20OS6124VAT8EGO.html Thank you!
  10. Yeah - sorry ipaine, but these are definitely bugged runs. That you were able to repeat it so readily, though, might mean you may have inadvertently stumbled upon a security or validation glitch in XTU. Might be worth investigating rather than just blocking the score and pretending it never happened.
  11. Well, I suppose mine is probably the very definition of a vested interest, so I'll make my contribution to this discussion as brief as I can... I like big iron. My affinity for big iron is driven by my enthusiasm for crunching and folding. As a result, I get great joy out of figuring out how to overclock it. Usually, we're talking about stuff that is specifically designed to prevent overclocking, so finding a way to boost your Socket F HT or the multi on your G34 chips is a fun challenge. I can only hope that those espousing the "no effort" argument in this thread simply do not know what they are talking about, otherwise I might take some offense. Regarding the new algorithm, well, it's never fun to have a bunch of points taken away from you, but I started benching this stuff long before the subs were worth anything really, so I'll get over it. I did agree, though, with the "if you build it they will come" argument that if you make benching big iron worth something, it would encourage more competition in what I personally believe is a fun and rewarding subgenre of overclocking. OC'ing stuff that's not supposed to be OC'd appeals to a somewhat different cortex than OC'ing K-class chips. So it was good to see guys trying their hand at G34, for example, who may not have otherwise. On the other hand, I definitely appreciate both sides of the argument. There's no way a multi-socket pcm05 global ought to be worth the same as a 4-core since everybody knows that benchmark doesn't really scale. But for benches that do scale - take wp1024 for example - we should be cautious about perverse incentives that discourage better scores, shouldn't we? Kinda defeats the whole purpose doesn't it? In the end, I support a change of this type if not this change in particular. I know full well that I have no business being first in the EL, but I admit that I'm a little disappointed to be off the leaderboard entirely. Oh well. Overclocking is fun. See the quote in my signature for the rest of my opinion on the matter.
  12. Ticket ID: 1693 Priority: Low Details here: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-Opteron%206274%20OS6274WKTGGGU.html Thanks!
  13. So Freeocen/Aquatuning Team should actually have 741 overall points instead of 771, right? I hate to nitpick, but it kinda matters for the HWC team...
