  1. the Romanians are becoming a force ... beer must be the secret
  2. congrats on 7k and #3 again, Sven!
  3. why do you think you won't gain the same 50mhz from subzero on UD4 ?
  4. flash it into Premium and it'll work with 133 FSB chips
  5. 1100 on RV770 is not an extremely difficult achievement, there are lots of people who did that with 4850 ... not sure if it's harder with 4870, but still a nice freq
  6. for % bit, G6950 is far from the best choice
  7. same thing if you bench it outside during winter ... only downside are HDDs not liking cold very much
  8. fixed
  9. WR points for N cards would be pointless as they would duplicate the purpose of global pts WR points are meant to serve as a reward for people who push for the maximum scores ever achieved in a benchmark, no matter how many resources it takes
  10. most people who run GTX2 use them for 3D, hence you don't see them maxed out very often
  11. hypers are still better, I'm surprised that noone's trying those for high clocks
  12. These comps are never meant to be fair anyway, more of a marketing stunt
  13. congrats on #3, Sven!
  14. forgot to ask - is this a reference-design card ?
  15. depends on a lot of factors but on the older cards XP scores are usually higher due to higher CPU test score compared to Vista or Win7
  16. same reason why you don't see boards with 2 crappy phases but seven PCIe plus six heatpipes - marketing people like smooth transitions in features from the bottom to the top of the range. The reason why you see so many mid-end variants is because transition from ~UD3 to ~UD4 level can be done in multiple ways - there's an UD3P with better PWM, for example. Making an OC dedicated P67 board would be an extremely stupid thing to do, IMO ... unless it costs <$100 since even the ~$150 stuff has all what it takes to max out any 1155 cpu.
