  1. tip - search ebay for those boards, last couple of months they sell for 50-60eur a piece ... but it's only good for high HTT and K8, for non-920/940 second generation phenom it's absolutely useless due to bad eff
  2. that's simply an outstanding achievement, thought sub10 min will never fall because it'd need CPU clocks ... kinda like the ones you're running there! What's the week/batch? This is an "N" chip, right? And also, how many Phenom chips did you test? (all models)
  3. can you please tell the batch and PCB code for this CPU ?
  4. refreshing my cedarmill DB today ... what batch was this done with?
  5. damn, you beat me to it ... I'll try to find more MHz in my CPU tomorrow
  6. marketing people don't understand sentences longer than 5 words, so I suggest making a simple chart and print it on your t-shirt instead ... they should understand that, it's their language
  7. only get to see the POST screen and get to the OS selection menu .. couldn't test up to the OS because the OS has been previously corrupted with unstable memory (BSOD during driver install)
  8. Are you sure it's not mem limited? (with 7-7-6 most hypers stop scaling around 1080-1100 and at 1120 they're already barely benchable, no matter the volts)
  9. there's a similar thing that needs to be done renaming 2.6/2.8 northwoods too: 2.6 comes only as 100 FSB (x26, no HT) and 200 FSB (x13, with HT) - get rid of the letters and (HT) in the CPU category name and grade them by FSB 2.8 comes as 100 FSB (x28, no HT), 133 FSB (x21, no HT) and 200 FSB (x14, with HT) - not the four models we have in the list now If moderators approve but don't have time then, given temporary rights, I can move the scores to categories they belong ... have too much free time and nothing to bench ATM
  10. As the 478 experts know, there are 3 types of s478 Pentium 4 2.4GHz Northwood: "A" model - 100x24, no HT (often referred to as vanilla, i.e. without the "A" letter) "B" model - 133x18, no HT "C" model - 200x12, with HT There have never been any hybrid (133x18 with HT or 200x12 w/o HT) models. As I can understand from here, this is the "A" category, this is the "B" and this is the "C", right? If yes, then a lot of scores need moving. 1. Stock FSB / Multi being the clear difference between models 2. I've been buying/looking for s478 chips recently - if even most of the PC builders/recyclers can't answer "is it an A/B/C?" question, then normal users will be confused either. Division by stock FSB will be much easier for them to understand which model they have.
  11. following the rules: 2500K - L051A872-2452 - could POST 100x56 on air with an ASRock P67 Pro3 but if you want to spot a trend between "numbers" and overclockability (if there is some, of course) you should be looking at the highlighted numbers from the ATPO, at least with cedarmills they tell a lot more than the last 4 digits you're asking people here... from what I found locally, "043" means the actual date of silicon production (for example E8600 with "823" are good no matter the batch)
