so what's the criteria for a competition to count for "competition points" then ?
-
Does it mean I can organise competition with a one-man qualifier, win it, get points, then make one-man "Worldwide Final", win it, get more points? The competition points allocated to the user total will, unlike what the tech doc states, not be limited to a specific percentage or a cap. We plan to give and take away competition points based on a fixed timeframe. For example: only competition points obtained in the last 3 months will be allocated to your personal account. The weight of the different competition types will be evaluated once we have the new point scheme up and running.
As for others - sorry, my competition is invite only...

Do not like:
1. Competition points for Xtreme Overclockers League.
Not everyone has fair chances of entering a competition, no matter how good of an overclocker you are. (Examples: Latvia, USA, Russia, etc.)
2. No more possibility to update/delete scores.
When I rebench something, I no longer want COLARDYN IT GCV to go bust on hosting my old scores which are now useless.

general: my classmates ... was cool having more MHZ than them back in 1999-2000
extreme: THG videos on singlestage/LN2 in 2002-2003
-
so you could only live w/o overclocking for less than 3 months ?
-
first of all, that's 2:3 misreported as 3:5 and second - other ASUS models / 790i can do it too

my 1600+ = http://www.abload.de/img/dsc047360fby.jpg = open
my 1700+ = http://www.abload.de/img/dsc047378dmx.jpg = open
my 1800+ = http://www.abload.de/img/dsc047387fl2.jpg = open
makes them MP unless I cut it manually and rebench, right?
funny that I bought all these Palominos from different ppl and all seem to be "not originals"
-
Unless I find a way to fix my NF7 (which has set itself on fire this morning) I won't be able to make any further tests.
I seem not to be the only one with this issue - Blutregen has a misreported 1600+ too (link)
it's funny that on my 1700+ (example) submissions CPU-Z reads the "Athlon XP" CPU string and still thinks it's an MP
-
I provide picture of the actual CPU with the CPU-Z submission usually - these are all genuine XP 1600+, 1700+, 1800+ and not MP.
I guess they are misdetected by the CPU-Z, if you have an XP Palomino I think you can have a go yourself.

latest CPUz sometimes bugs reading the FSB waay over it actually is on s462 ... I even got 500+ validated
-
OMFG, what a CPU ...
-
ehrr, it's not an X58 board on the pic
what PCIe freq for 257 ?

GT240 has pretty much the same parameters as 9600 GSO, which has even more crippled G92 than 9800GT hence 9800GT is a better choice (GDDR5 doesn't make up for the difference)
-
I think there will be very few participants in S775 category ... 1000MHz 32M capable X48 boards are hard to find, not even talking about 1050 with high FSB / tight PL + subs
-
I don't bench 3D so I don't care ... but since lots of people are happy with paying money for benchmarking software, I will forward this info to Franck so that we can have $50 CPU-Z "advanced" licences with subfrequencies (bclk/qpi/uncore) visible
-
which week are these chips ?
-
what is the batch of this CPU ?
-
-
with the rev4 coming in a couple of months I don't see much point in this move
-
nice going there Sven
...you made me start benching Socket A to keep away from you
-
what is the batch of this CPU ?
-
congrats on becoming one year younger, George

So ASUS/Biostar/Galaxy competitions don't count for competition points because they don't sponsor hwbot, right?
