wow, great CPU .. wanna sell it ?
-
how did you manage to set BCLK to 235.3? no clock generator in setfsb works (at least here) and BIOS 235 = 235.0 under OS
-
singlechannel for ultimate performance?
-
it's old ... back then people used external links for verificational purposes, which, I reckon, got all wiped out when hwbot engine has updated hence you don't see anything
-
1.58 on lynnfield and PWM didn't explode ?
I almost crapped my pants when my H55N started making squeeky sounds when I put 1.4V on it and ran 32M
-
yea, you need to be a Kama Sutra expert to mount TRUE with two tall-ish mem modules on this board
-
there is no SB container, it's useless go subzero on P55/H55 SB as it will coldbug.
CPU running at -135 to -145 (CBB mod from first couple of pages)
as for OS - always have two. One for stability testing (crashes a lot), second for actual runs (trying to avoid crashes on that one)

Initially, I was planning to run 5-6-5 but that didn't work out well, so had to settle for 6-6-5what is the point of RAM on LN2 with a clarkdale? -
and PCB code?it's splave's batch. -

singlechannel ain't helping your score much
-
not a bug report, a feature request
would be nice if one could delete pictures when updating a score

http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/core_2_e4300_1.8ghz
there was a guy who submitted two cheated scores:
1M - http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1037670_
32M - http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1037940_
I asked Massman and both were removed (hence you can't see the guy if you browse 2D ranks)
but my and others' scores haven't recovered points back
my 1M shows and is rewarded as 3rd (even though it's 2nd), my 32M shows and is rewarded as 2nd (even though it's 1st)
EDIT: 1M is fixed, 32M left to fix

judging by this pic (http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/2442/dsc0051d.jpg) there was indeed some sauna action

even though I got 6.6, this board has some serious problems
- after I got the 6.6 screenie, I tried 32M stability first (with low mems and qpi) - 233x27 was a crash at loop 15, 230x27 was a crash at loop 19, even 223x27 (6.0ghz) was a crash at loop 20
- 32M efficency with Clarkdale is worse than similar model, H55M-UD2H (32M at 4GHz is about 7 seconds slower)
- there is no SetFSB support for this board, so you have to clock it like a Phenom - boot with desired BCLK/MEM and then change CPU multi via CPU Tweaker
- takes VERY long to POST (22-24 seconds to bootscreen after you save settings in BIOS), makes it very hard to debug
- (same as other H55 board) only 3 subtimings can be adjusted via BIOS on Clarkdale, rest you put "1" or "255" - no difference at all
- Vcore settings closer to the top end do not work properly
- Cannot recover in 1 step (loading profile , F10, Enter) after a BIOS crash
- does not work properly with my OS (install / reboot problems)
-
all is correct
in bencnmarks which are ranked upon number of cores/GPUs you can have multiple submissions worthy of global pts.
BUT, only the submission with most global pts counts towards your personal total, but all submissions count towards team total.

even if it's miniITX - your cat will still find a way to sleep in the box
-
if it didn't scale above 1.75 then you'll never hit 7ghz .. some prescotts are just like that, scale nicely up to 1.7, but not higher
-
you've missed a number in the batch PCB code would be nice too
-
what's the batch ?

even if you run crazy mem/qpi/tweaks with the clarkdale, it still won't run much faster than 9:20, so don't waste your time unless you got a lynnfieldwell that took care of the cold bug. Chew nailed the spot. that 1st resistor at the top is definitely it. I can cold boot at much lower than -70c now. I dont know why im screwing around on stage one with a clarksdale. Is that extra 4mb in cache on lynnfield my problem or is it that I need to tweak my reg? (wazza/large system cache/max mem hacks) I just installed winxp 32 on a vertex2 with no updates. I killed as much as I could in services. other than that I just installed the chipset and gfx drivers. -
don't touch my golden cups

good luck fitting a rampot onto this boardordered a few new parts. . .
here UD7 retails for ~$450 (wholesale price <$400 with VAT), H55N around $135 ... no 6:1 hereAs for the UD9. . . I could buy six H55N's and still have some change for the same price -
properly made waza is very important for last loops (20-24), if you manage to get the available and sys.cache equal or very close (diff <100) with both being high, you can drop a good second or two there

if you don't overdoit with the subs (tRRD,tRTP and WtR(same rank)) then works fine
