I think hwbot must not care about sharing of hardware between team members as long as each individual posts results obtained by himself (otherwise - score sharing -> 1 year ban)
After all, if a big manufacturer can sponsor* an person - why can't his teammate act as a sponsor* as well ?
*sponsoring defined as giving free hardware and expecting something (PR or hwboints) in return

I'm not planning to bench every single 939 model like you did - most of them are $/hwbot inefficent, according to my excel
The only $/hwbot efficent s939 chips left are 3700sd, 4000sd, x2-3800man, o146 and o165.
I'm already done with the popular venices (bought every single 0512-0520,0602-0610 chip under 10euros, about 30 cpus in total), after seeing you, gianni and stunned_guy hunting for golden SanDiegos - I'm not even looking to spend as much time and money. As for the X2 and Opterons - some **** still bid over 50euros for "random batch"
P.S. Bad for you, I already bought me a MA790X-DS4 and am buying all Windsor and Brisbane under 20Euros

you've missed this one on ebay, Knut

when I made a submission it asked me wheter I had any cores unlocked
someone messed AM2+ semprons with old 939 stuff
-
well, yes i have two excel files
one for ppl I'm asking - 136 entries total (only batch and PCB code with some board/voltage info)
one for CPUs that I've tested - 71 entries total (air voltage scaling, dice voltage scaling, and most of them also LN2 scaling)
have 8pcs @ Freakezoit + 8pcs @ Smoke + 6pcs coming from TheGoatEater + 1pcs @ OPB + 4pcs bought locally still untested
-
you've missed a letter in the batch, should be 8 symbols
-
can it run 01 nature at 1020?
-
what's the batch?

I will upload some Q6600 scores in my next 1K set ... you've beaten me by a hair on this one

6GHz is very hard with these chips due to HTT limitations
-
not only bugged, but stolen score from other member, lol

well okay, you've proven that GTX2 owners indeed run their mems a bit higher than others
is it dictated by memory quality? don't think so
-
Had one of those modded Epsilons (only 700W modded), was pretty much unkillable and could run any rig I could throw at it 3 years ago
-
TPQ is good enough, in case you hit some hard FSB wall (like 7.9 suicide, bus 32M runs at 7.8) then switching PSUs may help a lot (up to 500MHz difference)
-
did it a couple of times - never helped to achieve more MHzshould I risk it an delid this baby?if you want to get 8ghz - what PSU did you use for 7.9?
P.S. still waiting for batch...
-
12th CPU to hit 8GHz is still lucky. I've bought over 80 and had only three 8GHz'ers. Gatman bought lots as well and his best is only 7.6

is a E3110 with TDP reduced from 65W to 45W

what's the batch / PCB code ?
-
I bet nVidia chipset of that alienware was running way over 80C even in the freezer
-
the thing about memory - people don't max it out very often. most 2d / 3d guys run at safe clocks (since it's not about the mems these days) so that memory doesn't cause any problems
-
memory chart is totally unnecessary - what you'll get is just "how many volts do ppl put on average to product X"
motherboard rank is near impossible to judge - unless you can compare results from same user, same cpu, same cooling
-
I think electricity required to run a rig for 50 days costed waay more than the actual rig
so, turns out, benching i486SX is for reach ppl

will it be for hwboints ?
