  1. some more results from testing 3226B988

Was testing a new chip tonight and did some 5Ghz runs with vdimm @ 1.8v

First up is all auto on secondary and tertiary timings, all I did was set 8-12-8-28-1T and the rest is magic . . .

then I tested 1276 8-11-7-27 and surprisingly it was about the same as 2600 8-12-8

and then a decent 2600 run

also was able to get an 06 run in

this board is awesome, I just need a good chip which seems like it is never going to happen:rofl:

  2. Ordered a DHL pick up for tomorrow, express worlwide 12H for a package or 120 x 80 x 120 cm, weight 250 Kg and insed amount 15'000 CHF. Pity, DHL's engine didn't allow me to put higher values, so that's max

Will be fun they said. Don't wanna pay the bill :D

    2783.70 € with a discount of 25 %

You are on another level of troll Christian, I love it:D

You must be blacklisted in so many ways lol

  3. I do not think the G.Skill RAM @ 1200MHz is intented for Z79. Not all s2011 CPUs have an IMC strong enough for 1200MHz.

1066MHz should work with the right timings though....have you tried making the timings slacker?

It's also possible it's partly down to 4x4GB. What is your tRAS and tRFC for example? :)

Have you tested on another vendor's X79 board?

I had no problems running multiple kits at 2400+ on X79, granted most were 4X2GB and not all 4X4GB, regardless it should work.

  4. Any good batches that it's possible to buy?

We're putting emphasis on voltage for 5GHz and IMC...... I'd like to see binning info on what chips can do with PCI-E controller.

3213B472 CR... PCI-E problems start at -65. By "useful" temperatures, forced to PCI-E 1.1, else crash during windows load.

L212B308. No problems that I remember

    Damaged chip?

Have you verified this behavior on another board?

  5. @sin

    1. TLDR past the first sentence.

    2. It was about another manufacturer which used 40phases (8x2x2 +8), but ignored the +8 for the sake of readability :)

    3. ROCK SOLID :)

Isabella "Ivy" Valentine, for those who don't get the reference :)

^excellent job bringing this thread back on topic :D
