great result my friend!

"My backup is bigger than your backup" should be our motto
Sandbagging isn't fun when you are a victim, but just like fester said - it's a strategy. It doesn't break games rules and it is a bit harder to compete with someone if you don't know his numbers. During contests - if you see someone monster score, cause he found a golden cpu/card you can mobilize and try to find better and beat him, buy more parts, tests more tweaks and so on but with sandbagging sometimes you think that you are safe, you had won a competition but in fact in last few minutes it appears someone beat you, it can be frustrating but we have to live with that, in fact when everyone is sandbagging - it isn't a problem anymore lol, cause no one knows their results until the end

Points should be based on popularity factor (already in "what to add/fix in next revisions" list), not on scaling factor.
Scaling factor is not constant, it is based on current (latest) gen CPU/GPU performance, OS and drivers support, benchmark settings, etc.
What if today we "improve" points for current situation with scaling and tomorrow next gen CPU (IB-E for example) will make better scaling for 3/4-way configurations, then we will need another improvement?
Hwbot point system already a bit too complex. Adding another 1-2 variables in calculation algorithm may slow down database server and make point system more hard to understand.
Agree, during Gulftown era 4x 5870 or 2x 5970 was the way to go in 3d03,3d05,06, aquamark or heaven

Nice job
You are lucky that you have old rev. of Lightning 680 lol

5 out of 8 will show up at the live final and do a "final battle" there, as far as I understood.
I understood from chinese site that every team will have their own steel lover = ln2 maid lol
* I saw this site 2days ago and there wasn't any info about contest
** I could be a bit drunk when I saw this site for the first time

I heard there will be hardware mod guide so it should be much more interesting during finals
but I still hope those new cards will also have software voltage control like old ones via new ABX or other special bios

I got today my 680 Lightning retail, 1.1v on ln2 bios (new revision). When I flash it with old ln2 bios I have artefacts even in bios lol. Something changed but rev. on PCB is the same in theory. So no OC this weekend...

Great score and great memories

Moisture testing, we don't want the epoxy do damage and cause CAF, so we have special "lick-stations" at the end of the assembly line.
we do NOT promote licking the board when it is powered on.
Dennis you made my day

Congrats all!
And nice to see that Perica finally got his ticket!
