that IMC seems pretty decent :P

@M1RR0R Not quite up to your goal but maybe still good enough?

not really what I’m looking for then, sorry! GL with sale!
-
any numbers? What is it capable of etc?

its fairly normal that hyper clocks lower then psc on clarkdale, no idea why but I’ve also never had luck clocking them high on that.
Also v2.1 1600c6, 1866c7, 2000c8, 2000c7 and 2250c8 as corsair are guaranteed hyper, though you typically want to run them as 6-7-5 or 7-7-6. 7-6-6 is not optimal.

told you best board for pure BCLK

I know I'm limited by my card(s). I have 2 MSI Hawk's and they have a large/tall capacitor above the GPU. It's right above the memory and kills any chance of Dice or Water Cooling I have a set of EKWB Thero's and a Quad set of Watercool GPU-X that will not fit ? . I have just ordered a EKWB generic GPU cooler hoping it will fit in the space.
Anybody else know of different water blocks that might work ??
Got some spare caps and a soldering iron? Take that cap off an put it on the back

Got a multimeter on hand? in that case just probe gnd against either kind of pad and whichever has the low resistance is gnd.

Outside terminals (long strips) are negative, inside terminals (dots) are positive.
Are you sure? Would recommend probing to confirm. I currently don't have a rex with missing fujitsu on hand to probe, but in boardviews for R2E and R3E the contacts are the other way around...

Not sure, 295 bclk can be called as "mobo limited" at 1366 ! Crazy set !
given that we had 3 CPUs top out at 293-294 on SS and this is after a lot of hours of tweaking on Cascade this is mobo limited We are going for 300 this year

I'm testing a few i3 550 and some new ram. with every chip, i hit a solid wall at 810 ram speed. This is with g.skill PSCs as well as my OCZ 2000c9 kit (which is probably PSC?!). Did you ever find out what this is all about? There are some sumbissions with ram at close to 1000...
only had issues with hyper, with psc running qpi at 5+ ghz and mem at 900-1050 is no problem on these on H55M-ud2h. I think during one of our later sessions we even hit close to 1100. This particular example doesn’t run high qpi and I’ve since stopped with the platform, but looking at scores from Tantekaethe (we’ve benched this platform together a couple times) might give you some other examples.

Strong board and nice run. Mem on cold ?
3:5 divider with 400 strap is 2:3 real, so 984 MHz, no need for cold there. Still nice everything

wow, great frequency very close to 300
Hopefully will fall this year, we have capable CPUs now its board binning.
Good work Trex!

another one of these on the team? This is starting to get weird :D Guess you have to run 32M on Q9550...

so many things wrong :(

nice,is your ASUS Rampage Extreme II better than your Extreme III ?
R3E seems to hardwall around 280-284 with several boards. x58a-oc and R2E consistantly go over 290 with at least 3-4 boards tested each.

that memory, wow! Sweet :D

is there a chance of just buying the Waterblock for the R3F? Missing heatsink assembly on mine sadly

Sweet mems for a 4dimmer!
