Surely you don't mean FSB sam?

vid or whatever cpuz shows here seems identical but can‘t know without tagg saying something.

yeah 7-7-6 1.65V, also with how much voltage they scale as well as max freq with trcd 6 and trcd 7. Some kits can do trcd 7 at ~1120 on ambient but thats pretty rare. tRCD 6 the highest I've managed on ambient was 995 32M though I'm sure more is possible with better sticks.

268 isn't impressive with that chip

Even HD 6990, 5970 can run it, although probably not very well. The real question is once we open up server/workstation cards does that also allow xeons as well? I know that 3175x isn't the way to go for AMD but in theory someone with titan z may want to give it a try?
Its limited to 4 cores...

I was running 115 pcie and slowmode. I was able to get cpu up to 250 bclk with the multi dropped.
damn, thats a really bad core. I usually wouldn't even bother testing further if a chip can't do 32m at 21*214 with 1.4V on air, and even then its a tough sell to bother taking cold, currently I don't bother with anything that can't do 4.5/1.3V, for 920s and W3520s 4.5/1.25V now that I've binned a decent number of chips.
If anyone wants to get into 1366 xeons, in particularly the 32nm low multiplier ones - don't buy batches from 2010. I just went through over 100 of them tonight and only 2 could do 250+ bclk on air. With batches from 2011 I had close to 50% of tested chips manage that...

My luck with my i7 920 was shit. 4.65 in 32m. I have three more coming but the first two were awful.
what temps and voltage?
edit: you are stuck at 221, any chance you aren't in slow mode and your pcie is untouched? you need roughly bclk*0.45 pcie to get beyond 221ish BCLK (eg 118 for 261)

Wow thats a lot of points... Maybe I should bin these as well :D

Knowing tagg it probably is, though 250 under SS doesn‘t require a particularly strong chip for 45nm Bloomfield.

You don't get what anyone is saying or said. Just ask the simple question, "mobile chips allowed or only desktop" and leave it at that. All you do is look like a know all that causes more friction than solves the question.
I have a simple question @Leeghoofd, is 775 and 771 going to be treated as the same socket like 1151v1/2? or can 771 be run on 775 board like last year? Love your work mate, going to be an interesting one.
I would hope that for the Superpi Stage 771 chips would be fine, but for the BCLK stage the board matters - so either ignore 771 or find a strong 771 board...

Yeah, just cut up a cheap dead Asus board with nice heatsinks I've used the heatsinks from a dead P5N32-E SLI + the SB heatsink form a P5Q Deluxe with cut heatpipes for my P5E3 Premium and the mounting holes are very similar on the rex, VRM heatsinks fit just fine. SB might need some improvisation.

No probrem but I was thinking more of 350 USD D D Dollars
Do we move the end date into January 2020 or we keep it on the 31st of December 2019
32nd December and we have a deal!

Does it count as „chilled“ if the tubing for the GPU passes over the CPU pot? Don’t worry, just joking Great work!

I heard even my random E5620 is better... ?
Nah, this chip does 267-269.65 on air

Not even close good job

I guess trcd scales negatively above 27?

Awesome, didn't know that! Great work!

still really impressive. Or is the bug fixed in 1.9.1?

running fullpot? Sweet!

Xeons will be allowed yes for S775
So no xeons for 1366?

Had an idea come to mind.
How about a Socket A stage with a restriction of no NF2 chipset boards used?
Can be any bench you'd like ran and that would make the stage a real challenge to say the least of it.
lets make the 775 stage no intel chipsets
