Nice on Roman! Some critics for the design. The groove system and base size are not well balanced. I think you will not have optimal power handling / heat transfer with that design, cause you have thick base and relatively small surface area for ln2 Of course, I might be wrong, cause I have just seen these pictures, but not the actual product in my own hands. That plastic mounting bracket is not what I would like to see in 2012. It is so last season and I think we had a nice conversation about them during Cebit I like the fact that you choose grooves as well to your product. It is always better than just holes, but there is still some improvements you need to do in to rev4.

Nordichardware Leaks Ivy Bridge OC results (more records at 6.9G)
SF3D replied to Massman's topic in Ivy Bridge (Z77) OC
No no Dino! The puzzle is solved and I moved myself to that mysterious OC country. That is the place where real pro's are living, so maybe I will become one too. TadžikistaN for the win!!! -

I got a hint that the name of that country starts with T and ends in to N... could not figure it out, cause I don't know any overclockers from Turkmenistan??? -
Haha.. you need to fix it better: http://sf3d.pp.fi/images/image/open/2.jpg That worked fine. But in the end you were not so lucky.. the seller probably knew that he was selling non working stuff FFFFUUUUUUUU....

Thanks for the information! I guess we will see the 4 way SLI scores from EVGA and ASUS soon, now when scores will get in to HOF too. -

Why sub 17? -
Nice pictures! Can you check the ASIC Quality with GPU-Z. Thanks!

SF3D OC Triple Point - New Ln2 pot for memory
SF3D replied to SF3D's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
You can use basic ceramique for ram. I used the large 22g tube, so it will not cost nothing. I used OCZ freeze between the pot and thermal plates and it worked very well. In there paste should be something like Gelid GC Extreme. -

Here are the messy pictures of insulation etc. Will need to do guide about insulation later with better pictures. It is very easy to insulate and the cold does not spread to motherboard anymore. It is great improvement. Perfect contact!!! -
SF3D OC Triple Point - New Ln2 pot for memory
SF3D replied to SF3D's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
You must be joking Dino? The stock HS is usually the weakest link in memory oc with ln2. Now you can cool the memory chips directly with the plates. No matter what brand or what type of memory you have. Corsair with glued HS can be used without removing them, no problems. P.S Tested some Elpida BDBG, Hynix and some unknown memory chips and all scale very well above the speed they do on air or ghetto pots. Temperature is very easy to control and keep in some desired spot. Now I just need to find good BD chip which have IMC for max memory attempts. Two latest CPU's were not good at all. -

Thank you! Of course it is a good idea Just send e-mail to SF3DOCsales@sci.fi and our *sales manager will handle it from there. *joke Don't know about records, but I am very happy with the product. Thanks Atso! -

PJ, dont feed the .... Thanks Hiwa! Real attempts are close now. Did correct insulation etc. I wish I would have some single stick for max mhz attempts. I have just random hynix here. -
SF3D OC Triple Point - New Ln2 pot for memory
SF3D replied to SF3D's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
Well, I have tested these sticks with some other intel CPU's as well and the one still under NDA did not change a thing, even though it is a lot better with some Hynix On X58 platform these did 1090MHz max, so I do know how these are clocking. Thanks for reminding about these things. Cu version would just add a lot of costs, but gain would be close to 0. So, answer is no. There will not be any Cu version. -
SF3D OC Triple Point - New Ln2 pot for memory
SF3D replied to SF3D's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
It was on my last post on previous page: These sticks have done 1145MHz max 7-7-7 before with Sandy Bridge, so there is quite a lot improvement in the results. So, quite a lot of improvement! Yes, everyone should want this pot!!! I hope the final clocks will be really impressive This was just the start for my tests. -
SF3D OC Triple Point - New Ln2 pot for memory
SF3D replied to SF3D's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
Nah, it is not important. This was just the first quickie. Need to do insulation etc better and try more with correct CPU version. Yeah, I also though my hypers did not like AMD, but I was wrong. These sticks have done 1145MHz max 7-7-7 before with Sandy Bridge, so there is quite a lot improvement in the results. Some superpi 32M with 1200MHz+ 7-7-7 and 6.XX GHz Ivy Bridge will be interesting -
Yes, I tried that but it did not change anything. I think it says driver version is FM approved but it is not or something.

SF3D OC Triple Point - New Ln2 pot for memory
SF3D replied to SF3D's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
This pot definitely works! Dual channel DDR3 2558MHz with 7-7-7 latencies. I failed with CPU-Z, cause I did not remember to update it. My suicide dual channel 1300MHz 7-7-7 run is ok, but not able to publish, cause version was 1.59. I hate that thing in CPU-Z!!! Temperature was -30C real and memory voltage 1.975V. There must be a lot left in this setup, cause IMC seems to be ok in this BD. Max memory clocks are next on the line. -
So why this result is not shown on hall of fame? http://3dmark.com/3dm11/2962652 I don't see any problem in it.
