  2. lol i just went to check some of the top 20 and the first score from hipro5 doesnt even have checksum in screenshot

    it's covered by CPUz screen

why would you guys check that and approve it if it doesnt comply with screenshot requirements even though it is George and we know he can be trusted > it still shows a bad example

i'm assuming it a slight oversight from all parties

If old George will ever cheat, I will cut my balls and feed them to my dog :)

  3. WTF...I write "checked" when I check a score that is OK, after someone reports it. Your score is perfectly ok, but it seems that I chose "incorrect sumbission" by mistake. My bad, score is back up :)

If there are any other scores like this, please give me the link and I will fix them.

  4. It's a concept, like every concept. With it's goods, it's wrongs and so on. It's not the most important thing for overclockers and it's not going to be the last competition. It's a manufacturer's competition, it may have a great succes, it may fail, we'll live and see how it's developing. If the second year is with qualifiers, that is a good thing and everybody is looking forward to that I guess. Untill then I am really curious to see some of the titan's clashing, after the names I have seen on the first page. BWHAHAHA this will be nice to see!!!

  5. They have definately used the same OS, same tweaks, and maybe same rig without CPU and RAM. Unfortunately the HWBot rules only prevent users from using the same CPU for 2D benchmarks, so not much we can do by the book...Even if they have benched together, on the same platform, right now the rules only say about the CPU, nothing else. Probablly they used the same HDD, with the same tweaked OS and such.

  6. Hey guys,

from 22th to the 24th of May 2009, in Romania, we will organize the first Extreme Romanian Overclocking Party, where all extreme romanian overclockers will be present. We will have an overclocking bootcamp, with 3 days of benching, eating, drinking and sleeping together, in rural conditions. Basically, we are 10-15 nice gentlemen like myslef (:D) gathering together in a small rural house, with no bath, and an outside wooden toilet, with lots of pork and beer, but most important, with TONS of hardware and LN2. We might or we might not do some serious HWB damage, but I wanted to inform you guys ao you know what's going on on our side.

  7. I don' have time to answer most of the point you are making, cause they are not worth it now. We all know that you are good bencher. We all know you can tweak systems well, but there is no need to always bring these same issues up. Someone is always better than you, no matter what is the matter. THIS IS NOT the case here. It is all about the PCMark05 benchmark itself.

Bro, I really do not see any difference between my point and what any of the other guys posting here except you and Gautam. It's not about me, I really don't like PCM05 so much (you have to have "best appearance" set, and Windows Media Player or converter or whatever installed and so on...bleah!!! that is not a bench OS :D ) and I really do not care about PCM2005 so much....in fact...I pretty much dislike it, just like I really don't like Aquamark. But there are guys that do and I think that there should be a more relaxed dialogue between HWB Crew and those guys. HWB is first of all a community made of benchers, so when you want to make that kind of decisions you should also take into account the opinion of the community. It's not about what you want or about what you think, heck...if I would be HWB Crew I would probably take out Aquamark instantly, but probably that would not be fair to those who like it. Be more relaxed, see their point of view, and find a solution together. That is all that I am saying.

And yes, you guys have a strong argument with 9000MB/s, we all know that that is not real. But neither are those those >1000 fps that we see in Nature or Mother Nature. Sure, you can have that ammount of FPS in an old game using new hardware, but besides the fact that most of the games have a cap, anything over a constant, solid minimum of 60-75 fps really does not matter. So the situation is kindda similar. Benching is one thing, real life is another thing :)
