Well, that is good. But I hope that there will be no need to get this kind of email in the future -

It is not, it's just plain old yahoo with no filters or anything active. At least it would put it in bulk if it would be blocked as spam... -
Announcing users before blocking a score
Monstru replied to Monstru's topic in Submission & member moderation
Well....it is not the only feature that is not working, so...it happens ) I am aware that HWB is growing pretty fast, new server is coming up, vBulletin keeps on updating and changing stuff from version to version...So I am sure that it is not an easy job you guys are doing there. I am sad I have no coding skills, or else I would have gladly offered to help, if needed. Anyway, I am glad to hear that you guys are almost finished with the new set of rules, that is good news indeed. Maybe you will take in consideration some other new features too, like memory overclocking, or GPU overclocking, just in the way the CPUZ results are used for CPU overclocking. Can't wait to see the new thing in HWB world -

Ok. So, I didn't receive an email, and my friend didn't receive an email also, so there is something wrong with that feature. As for the result sharing... I NEVER encouraged such a thing, and I will NEVER agree with that, I don't even know why you bring that up. But, I am really waiting for the new set of rules regarding hardware sharing and joined benching, because we talked about that a few months ago, and I thought it would be solved by now. -
Hey guys! I just got a 3DMark 2003 score blocked or deleted, probably for a controversial reason My question was....if (from whatever reason) a score must be blocked or deleted, don't you think it would be fair to notice the user too? I thought this is how things get done ( I never got any score blocked before), and if you have lots of results it's pretty hard to see which one is missing and caused the point loss Regarding why my result was deleted, I would like to ask you guys what happend with the discussion here, and with the suggestions some of us had in that thread, especially the suggestions made in posts #2, #4 and #37 Thx guys

Invalid Super PI results - why/how?
Monstru replied to HighT3ch's topic in Submission & member moderation
The validator has been broken a few months now, and they didn't fix it yest. It's not your CPU's fault. Try to validate some older results of yours and you'll see -
Happy birthday RB, may the HWB community never stop growing

Intel is holding back on releasing E8500 inventory
Monstru replied to _LiteSpeed_'s topic in General hardware discussion
Here, in Romania, it was something like this: 20th Jan - A shipment with lots of E8200, ~10 E8400 and a few (5-10) E8500 was out on the market, and instantly sold out. E8200 - Q740A - it was pretty weak for o/c. I mean...very low temps, good for daily use, but most off them stopped at ~4300Mhz on air. E8400 - Don't know much about these ones, medium oc'ers I suppose. E8500 - Q740A - Good overclokers, very high FSB (580 on air), pretty decent volts for Orthos @ 4Ghz-4,3Ghz 28th Jan - a shipment with E8400 came on the market, something like 30 pcs. Of course, they instantly sold out E8400 - Q746A - Great oc'ers, would easily do 4700-4800 air cooled with normal temps, very low volts needed for Orthos at highs clocks. Very hot Cpu's though ( I own one of these) Since then, they keep on bringing small numbers of CPU's, and they sell them like hot bread. I don't know what's up with this, I mean..everybody is trying to get one of these, and Intel certainly have stock (they are producing them at least since November 2007). why they are not throwing them on the market with full force....this I don't know -

Unfortunately that is true. Fortunately, I managed to get my hand on a beautiful E8400 for myself -
I think that CORE and MEM as separate categories would be super I would also like to propose a CPU-Z Memory ranking. DDR, DDR2, DDR3 categories.

POLICE department INTO hwbot?....
Monstru replied to hipro5's topic in Submission & member moderation
Massman: I do not agree with these rules: What if a magazine or a store gives me a CPU to review. Or what if a friend of mine that has nothing to do with HWB and benching gives me his CPU to play with? That is not sent by manufacturer, but by a third party supplier Of course, nobody should ever post results that are not done by themselves, I totally agree with that one -

Monstru replied to hipro5's topic in Submission & member moderation
Now I see it all. All my respect hipro, it takes a great man to speak out his feelings like that, and it takes a great man to take time to prove something and not say it from the beginning. I am sorry if I ever misjudged you guys in this thread, it is clearly that some thing I had absolutely no idea about. RESPECT! Also......I am afraid that hipro really has a point here:
