  1. Had to use XTU to remove power limit, or bios worked okay?
  2. Can also try really low SA like 1.1, or Doomed says his chips need high SA like 1.35+, but it really should be pretty easy, especially if other board did it fine
  3. Lock up/shutdown or BSOD? Have you tried VCCIN 2.3-2.7 if the former, or easy memory settings like 7200 if the latter?
  4. Boot with Z690 Apex, open device manager, install these drivers to all devices that are missing drivers. Then boot with Z790 Apex Encore. You will need PS/2 probably to reinstall USB drivers. https://www.mediafire.com/file/dap6k6n96t27l1a/DP_Ported_DriversCollection_v24.7z/file Thanks to George King on MSFN
  5. Very warm hmm, try leave memory settings all auto, only set FLL OC Mode to Ratio OC, disable ecores, set vcore and core ratio, and apply settings when cpu is at -100 so that you don't change cpu temp too much after training mem. Then see how cold you can go in OS. If you have a cold bug, then raise CPU Input Voltage, first to 2.3 to see if it makes any difference. You can try up to 2.7 if it does help.
  6. Make sure RSVD_1 and RSVD_2 switch are set to Off Edit: Actually having it boot ever is weird if you were to have RSVD_2 enabled, I guess also make sure to not be using Maximus Tweak Mode 2, as this loads skews that only work well at ln2 temp.
  7. I could boot 9200 at these settings before and run 9250+ geekbench stable. So I want to figure that out again instead of this 9066 boot + bclk. Also couldnā€™t use my latest tweaked win 7, only the last one I uploaded. So letā€™s see what else I can do at home
  8. Need z690 for sli on win 10/11, but low on ln2 so didnā€™t end up doing that lol
  9. DifferentSLI doesnā€™t need bridges or x8
  10. I made a tiny program to do this for you, just put the saved IFR on top of it. I'm a noob at programming so hopefully it doesn't break too easily. ECCfixer.exe
  11. nvflash64.exe --save oldifr.ifr open file in hex editor, set everything past offset 0x5568 to just 00s. save as whatever.ifr nvflash64.exe --flashinforom whatever.ifr
  12. Not like the ā€œdamageā€ will ever be obvious, and it really is 2 minute fix if you care.
  13. It is recoverable, you can flash the card back to new using nvflash. Instead of flashing VBIOS, you dump the infoROM, zero out the relevant sections, and reflash the infoROM.
  14. Hmm okay, I will test it later today https://drive.google.com/file/d/15QqNswqx0Q9EClIuAq0ifLXyBItVasFJ/view?usp=sharing this one is known good, just wanted to make one based off the latest
  15. ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX 9909 for 3+ GPUS (Must use USB BIOS Flashback, rename to MZ790A.CAP) ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX ENCORE 9909 for 3+ GPUS (Must use USB BIOS Flashback, rename to A5470.CAP) Let me know if these work
  16. Cool! I couldnā€™t get much more than 2400 either on TU104 and that was on geekbench which is way way easier
  17. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ez7KYo6CGTkVmKIdGhS3EBokUuBO1N_q/view?usp=sharing Latest MemTweakIt (fixes 14700K)
  18. MZ690A.CAP like detailed in the normal bios downloads on asus support page. Or you can use biosrenamer.exe that is included with the downloads there
  19. Chrome is weird and requires you to copy the link and open it in a new tab, middle click might work too. I think it was Firefox that just worked as expected.
