ASUS ROG MAXIMUS APEX Z790 | APEX 15
Very warm hmm, try leave memory settings all auto, only set FLL OC Mode to Ratio OC, disable ecores, set vcore and core ratio, and apply settings when cpu is at -100 so that you don't change cpu temp too much after training mem. Then see how cold you can go in OS. If you have a cold bug, then raise CPU Input Voltage, first to 2.3 to see if it makes any difference. You can try up to 2.7 if it does help.

Make sure RSVD_1 and RSVD_2 switch are set to Off Edit: Actually having it boot ever is weird if you were to have RSVD_2 enabled, I guess also make sure to not be using Maximus Tweak Mode 2, as this loads skews that only work well at ln2 temp.

I made a tiny program to do this for you, just put the saved IFR on top of it. I'm a noob at programming so hopefully it doesn't break too easily. ECCfixer.exe

Not like the “damage” will ever be obvious, and it really is 2 minute fix if you care.

It is recoverable, you can flash the card back to new using nvflash. Instead of flashing VBIOS, you dump the infoROM, zero out the relevant sections, and reflash the infoROM.

MZ690A.CAP like detailed in the normal bios downloads on asus support page. Or you can use biosrenamer.exe that is included with the downloads there

Benchmark Tweak Software - Broken links, plz go to Benchmark Tweak Software 2024 post
Chrome is weird and requires you to copy the link and open it in a new tab, middle click might work too. I think it was Firefox that just worked as expected.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1o2vVkMRurpZpaJ9OAf1f1pCPWTiqHj3M/view?usp=sharing You can try flashing this bios with USB BIOS flashback and seeing if it makes a difference, but it's interesting that it worked on the hero. If that one doesn't work, I posted another one I did in a slightly different way on discord bios mods channel

Seby9123 - Ryzen 3 5300G @ 5675MHz - 64753 MIPS 7-Zip
I tried again earlier this month using tweaks from gskill but they don’t seem to help on AMD and 5675 is really hard on my chip, needs perfect temp control. Also I couldn’t get the memory stable again I tried running it on my B550-I which can run 5200 CL16, but for some reason the CB on that board is -120 instead of -145 😔
