  1. Now that's the marketing angle! That's exactly what happened to me in Paris. My CPU was way better than anybody elses, hence the 2nd place.
  2. Congrats ryba, nice score. I can't figure out how pissed I'd be with myself if that score didn't show up, with that 70 point margin to Lucky_n00b. NOW I have to go to bed for real. I was a bit too excited to do that when I said I would.
  3. I got close to beating at least one Hawk. I heard there are some bad ass scores coming in, but this whole Cyclone experience was quite fun. Maybe I'll get back to that later when I've refilled my LN2 dewar and figured out a way to raise the OVP even further (did that with 1.28VGPU, 1.82VMEM). A full mod guide (sort of) for the Cyclone is available here: http://www.nordichardware.se/testlabb/292-nhoc/41324-msi-n460gtx-cyclone-en-modguide.html (In swedish, but pictures are in english)
  4. Not waiting around anymore, got a job interview in the morning, so I need some sleep. My final results are up.
  5. Yeah, I'm not too optimistic about my chances, but I've at least done what I could with this Cyclone.
  6. What about a teaser? Erm... Nothing to see here, changed my mind.
  7. Oh, I have a complaint. I used the F1 EE at the MOA EU finals, finished second. Used the Inflection Point in the WW finals, finished 16th.
  8. A few more tweaks for a final push tomorrow, not so sure I will improve my score. I'm sure Lucky_noob will take this if he gets his issues sorted out.
  9. Nah, I think you should stop where you are now. I'm having coldbug at about -65c, it just completely stops working.
  10. Well, I'm not getting past what I've posted so far right now at least. Spent the entire afternoon with that. Gotta look into GPU and maybe memory OVP (1.2/1.77V).
  11. My goal is actually the Extreme part, but I'd need to figure out how to get the memory to 1200MHz+ first.
  12. "MSI's hunt for 450 & 460 - OC Challenger is open for submissions until 5 oct. This competition is between members. You can submit benchmark results before 5 oct." Is it just me, or does that contradict itself? Can you submit any results on the 5th, or do you have to do it before the 5th of october, i.e. the 4th?
  13. So, mem clock irrelevant for the competition, but it still looks as if it matters in the ranking?
  14. Me though, I'm too dumb to figure out how to OC the RAM to 1200MHz. Other than that, 1020MHz is working, sort of.
  15. It's on LN2, yes. Don't have any water cooling, so it's easier to run on LN2 to keep it at about 25 degrees.
  16. Oyeah, maybe should mention that gbglassen was benching with me as well (i.e. doing the hairdryers). elmor's guide was of help, but we still couldn't get things working just as well as him or ME4ME. Maybe it's a bad GPU, maybe it's just me. Probably the latter though.
  17. I'm not really interested enough to pay anything for someone to be able to make money out of my results if they present them in the right way. I mean, it's basically an endless source of overclocking stats, a database of results to which I submit my scores for free for the fun of it, in the end you may use it for statistics and attract sponsors. If someone's going to charge me for it, I sure won't be here anymore. The only reason I submit scores right now is for the fun of it, I don't take it seriously. I might sound a bit egoistic, but I don't exactly feel this is something I can't do without, but that's my point of view.
  18. Still wanted 400 points more for an overall victory, but hey, it was quite nice anyways. Competing was great fun, especially since I for once got a bit lucky (good teammate who brought luck, probably).
  19. Just need a good 980X now, but the Rampage III Extreme and the GTX2's are great, hence the performance.
