SF3D OC Inflection Point -
Use Ivy for RAM OC. SB CPU IMC does not support RAM dividers higher than 1:8. For 2400 MHz RAM clock on SB you need at least 112.5 BCLK.

Nice score for such CPU clock! Petri, do you tried to increase Power Target and Max Power Target with Kepler Golden BIOS tool? I have the same card and can't OC it properly for some reasons, BIOS or new drivers holding it back... http://www.dropbox.com/s/vrunxuq03vj0m5y/kgb_0.5.zip Just found this tool recently, will look if it can help for this card.

Points should be based on popularity factor (already in "what to add/fix in next revisions" list), not on scaling factor. Scaling factor is not constant, it is based on current (latest) gen CPU/GPU performance, OS and drivers support, benchmark settings, etc. What if today we "improve" points for current situation with scaling and tomorrow next gen CPU (IB-E for example) will make better scaling for 3/4-way configurations, then we will need another improvement? Hwbot point system already a bit too complex. Adding another 1-2 variables in calculation algorithm may slow down database server and make point system more hard to understand.

Congrats top5! And thanks to all who participated in this battle. Bad luck with the lightning this time... low asic, high vid, not likes cold and 1600mhz is max. Had 4:51 32M backup but additional 5 points not helps me to get any higher place in the ranking anyway.

my first gd65 worked two days then locked to 55 code tried with both bioses, two different cpus and a lot of different rams bought another board, hope it will work at least 5 days more...

PCMark05: Revodrive 3 X2 Performance
S_A_V replied to I.M.O.G.'s topic in General hardware discussion
Tried old RevoDrive x2 100Gb one year ago, got only 170-175 Mb/s in General Usage and 347 Mb/s Virus Scan. Used first (highest) PCI-E x16 slot on motherboard for RevoDrive. May be it is related to caching. Discrete RAID-controllers use onboard RAM for cache. Integrated (onboard) RAID-controllers use software cache (Intel RST / AMD RAID BIOS). Revodrive don't use any cache, except some small memory inside SandForce controller. -

S_A_V replied to HobieCat's topic in Result Discussions
Nice find Steve No need to add some special CPU categories. Add one check in result submit code: if multi-socket board specified then show extra CPU fields (CPU2, CPU3, CPU4 - based on which board specified). Then result goes for best CPU category like when mixed VGA used (based on which CPU specified in CPU1 field). -

Congrats! Your Transparent Windows beats my Pixel Shader -
If you get the key before benchmark supports and sales was discontinued - ok, nothing illegal with that. But for now, the оnly way to get a key for PCMark04 is... using goggle for it. I not sure "generated" keys, even for discontinued benchmark, is legal.
-
Grammar check "fix" was used by I.nfraR.ed for HWBOT OC Challenge June 2011, so I guess it is legal. The only one thing that can be considered as illegal is registering the benchmark with a key. But this benchmark not available for sale long time ago and we just not have any other options to get that "fix" working.
