  1. ahh alright now I got it Understood it wrong first.
  2. I dont get what you are trying to say. First you say also exotic stuff should be rewarded. Now you say there should not be anything is there is not enough competition?
  3. There has to be a way to judge the value of a result. Obviously it makes sense to judge by activity/competition. Or should we now start to judge by the "skill" it takes to buy the hardware?
  4. If it doesnt work with different CPUs and different memory sticks return the board.
  5. Usually the guys who are fine with the decision don't even post because they have nothing to complain about. That's why it looks like that Like I said before several times: This change was a wish by the community and announced ages ago.
  6. I won't go into details but to remove two letters is not enough to make it look like a retail. I also think the guys participating in the MOA should be professional enough to follow the rules and not to cheat.
  7. you're right. The video rule has to be changed to:
  8. Nobody would care because you would have to compete in a race with other drivers to proof your skills. You can't evaluate a measurement or score if you have no values to compare it to.
  9. Haha sounds like a solid meme @ Sam: You have to go by the worst card and not by the best. That doesnt make sense. Some might need the epower already for 1250 MHz and some might not need it.
  10. Mine couldnt That's why I set the limit to 1200 MHz =)
  11. What kind of cards are you looking for? The ones which have a high popularity like 8800GT or also rarely used ones like Quadro stuff?
  12. Yes same goes to the GTX Titan / GTX 780. Let me quote Massman for this:
  13. These guys are in the Pro-OC-League and not affected by this new improvement anyway. Also this is a community decision and the topic has been active for a while now. I just checked your profile and your results should not be affected by this anyway? Don't understand why you are complaining.
  14. The reason why you dropped down is not related to the exotic hardware change. There is a bug in the ranking and the points of some users are not calculated correctly. Please check this topic: http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=79152&page=4 So no reason to worry It will be fixed soon and you'll get your points back.
  15. You have to show the end of the benchmark run and not only the result itself. We will publish the detailed video rule tomorrow.
  16. Actually I did the submission and posted this in the internal Staff section yesterday: This should actually show that I dont care about the points of this submission at all. Just wanted to show that the current system has to be changed and I assume it worked Seems like you got the point with the last bit of your posting. This also applies to the Cinebench and wPrime server-scores.
  17. Great improvement! @ Rasparthe: The HWBot points have to represent the effort or skill it takes to achieve a score. 60 points for a result which was achieved on stock clocks is too much.
  18. If you don't want to show it you can't use it. Where is the problem to quickly show the card in the video? That's a bit different from a soldering instruction. Two seconds are enough to see whether it's a cut lightning or a epower board.
  19. what NDA stuff are you talking about?
  20. Gyrock I'm sorry that this will be difficult for you. You guys should know that we didn't set up this rule to give you a hard time but to provide a fair competition for you. If anyone has a better idea: shoot!
