Meh...!!!
743 or GTFO.

Thanks to everyone trying to help. Greatly appreciate it.
Socket pins are not bent, except one that might be a few degrees off. But when removing CPU after one of my sessions, a few strands of grizzly ended up in the socket. I tried to clean that with a very sharp needle & then isopropyl alcohol, looked okay. But then I had all those issues in the next session. That's when I made the post.
After that Jason suggested me to get contact cleaner. I cleaned the socket & RAM slots with it. Had another session yesterday, less problems then before, but still had to leave RAM @ auto(2133) & random freezes above -140C, even though voltages set correctly. When taking out the CPU today, I did notice some a little deposit of whitish stuff on some pads, so that might be the reason.
Gonna try one more session with a new CPU next week. If that session doesn't show improvement, I'll RMA for socket damage. I don't mind even if they charge me a fee. But I spent a lot of time insulating this board & rather not remove it all & do it again. So hopefully i can fix it.

Well, atleast I am not the only one.
Let it dry yesterday & tried again today.
Same thing. Within like 30 mins.
Will recheck insulation now.

Nice mems Bullant.
You raised the bar for 4G. :ws:
Had a strange issue, benching last night, wondering if anyone has a clue.
I was cooling down the CPU, when the system froze around -150C. I reboot & obviously hit CBB.
Heat up to -120C, instead of being stuck at 00, now i am cycling 00 19 4C. Weird. Heatup to -100C, still same. Remove a stick of RAM at a time, i find out slot 1 isn't working with any stick of RAM that i own, even at Auto. All cycling 00 19 4C.
At this point i call it quits. Let the system heatup & around -10C, i decided to try 1 more time again, just for the heck of it. And it works.
Decided to pull down again, dump one flask in, get to around -49C, try booting again, same 00 19 4C. And then i stopped for real.
Anyone have any idea as to why...?
I tried, reflashing MEI, Clearing CMOS, heating up the mem slots with hairdryer (there was no water to begain with), different RAM, pot wasn't touching the RAM or anything. Still, nothing worked.

- Hardware you hope/plan/expect to bring for benching-
Z170:- 6700k/Some Skylake i3
Mobo:- Asus Impact,Asrock MOCF
X99:- 6 Core BW-E for sure, maybe even 10 Core (depending on Price)
Mobo:- Gigabyte X99 SOC Champion
GPUs:- 290X Lightning, 580 Lightning, some other old GPUs & maybe even GTX 1080 (depending on circumstance)
Will be bringing & using my Own DDRs.
Dewar:- Can bring my 20 Litre, if needed.
1x CPU & 1x GPU pot
- Any equipment you can bring to loan or will need to borrow
Wouldn't need to borrow anything (hopefully)
Might have a couple old GPUs available if anyone wants to use for display purposes
- direct link to your hwbot.org profile page (if available)

So since only Skylake is immune, let's disable or freeze XTU points for old gen.
Oh wait...

Ya I'm not seeing the problem here, a few days back Schmuckley did a "WR" exposing this flaw again.
Did they not see it .?
Or as long as it doesn't affect Skylake, we don't care.

Can we pre-ban XA?
Especially since it sounds like he'll have prior BW-E experience?
Quite some people there will have prior experience.
Hence the choice of BW-E is bad IMO.
I'm not gonna be there, but just my 2 cents. [emoji16]

Core/Cache/Mem on point.
Very nice.

Thanks guys. More Haswell-E next week. Hopefully.

Nice run man.

Oh common, you allowed 300 series which are rebrands, but not 290 series.
Not fair. They are one and the same.
Allow both.
And yes, a clarification on HW-E would be welcome.

Copper or bust.

It's a hardware limit. Could perhaps provide a mod?
Thank you for your offer to help, I appreciate it. But I'm not able to mod my board because I can't afford losing the warranty on it.
Too bad its a hardware limit. I have a kit of both B-die & E-die, that scales past 2.135V.

Updated the link, previous BIOS didn't have XP support. Please download again if you already got it.
Can we plz get some more VDIMM, like 2.3-2.4V.
Mine scale with Voltage & 2.135V ain't cutting it. [emoji28]

I guess D-die no need.

How many times does Java get updated vs. a new OS being released?
Valid point.
But we didn't get a significant speed up with releases until Java 9.
Hopefully it settles down after the Beta stage is over.

lol, instead it scales with Java version used, which is not ideal.
New java version is like a new OS.
No one said anything when legacies got faster with Win10.
