MSI GTX 560Ti 448cores Facts 'n Fiction
The Mutt replied to Eeky NoX's topic in General overclocking
Yeah, same here. First time on dice with this card I had only a normal 120mm fan against the VRM area and after 5-10min it smelled of burned rubber from the elastic eraser and I could not go higher than 1055mhz core, with Delta 220cfm fan 1141mhz was possible. So You probably need heatsinks on the VRM stuff. -
Great! The video I have only goes back to 2010 but it´s for my 560 Ti 448. (I´m in B-class...) What the hell, I´ll make one and if I can use it then I´ll just solder it to the card and if I can´t use it the I just keep it for a rainy day.

The thought has crossed my mind.

That is exactly what I was thinking but I want confirmation from someone in charge before I start destroying stuff. :-)

I have a couple of 2900xt that are only marked ATI can I use one of these to make a zombie? Or does it have to be a MSI branded one? They were all reference I think and the only difference is the stickers on the cooler and that is gone already. :-)

Or maybe he just knows something you don't, I for one is getting pretty tired of all the complaining from some of contestants this year. I don't know all tweaks for every benchmark there is but I don't go and call everyone that gets a higher score with the same clocks a cheater. You have to respect and belive that all competitors follow the rules and do not cheat otherwise you just look like an idiot when more people score better than you. Oh and Schenckel bros, your submisson is missing video beacause your gpu is over 1200.

And that's what I have.

Perfect! Will try it next week and hope it works and the card benefits from it.

Great! Too bad I'm planning on benching on tuesday, will try and push it to thursday instead.
