  1. I heard there would be security checks?
  2. You can use any memory configuration as long as you're using 4GB dimms. So: - 4GB x 1 = 4GB - 4GB x 2 = 8GB - 4GB x 3 = 12GB - 4GB x 4 = 16GB - ...
  3. Okay! The problem is that the boards were not in the database yet. I have added them after your first post and that's why the AN35 board is working now. The A7N8X-E should be working as well.

  5. What is the error? There should be no problem at all since the stage limitations are based on the socket linked to the CPU model and not the mainboard model.
  6. Go to the linked thread and say hello
  7. Heyo all! After reading the Benchmark Buffet guide at overclockers.com, I wonder if there are more of these guides out there, but in different languages. If yes, I think it would be a good idea to collect the links to these HWBOT or general benchmarking guides and put them in a central place so new members can easily find a guide in their own language. Are there any of these guides? 8. Okay. Let's do it this way: - de/re-soldering of GPU/MEM chips = not okay - adding PWM to existing cards = okay Moar Zombie !
  9. Anyone else rooting for Bulldozer to be competitive in absolute performance (after OC)?
  10. Oh, okay. This is complicated. So the difference between 8600GT and 8600GTS is just higher clocks + different PCB ?
  11. Cyclone is the Master/Boss/Overlord on this one. I'm just the messenger. So don't shoot me!
  12. I'll use this one, I think [hwbot=2185410]submission[/hwbot]
  13. 'Only' 8600GTS PCB? I'm disappointed in you, TiN.
  14. BCLK overclocking is not back, they just added more straps to play with. Instead of the single 100MHz ref clock, you'll now have 100, 133/150(?), 166, 200 and 250MHz. I kind of expect there to be not much added wiggle-room, though. These settings are basically clockgen registry settings. I expect them to be linked to the PCI/USB still. So, probably it will be like: 100MHz strap => 100-110 MHz 133MHz strap => 133-144 MHz 166MHz strap => 166-182 MHz 200MHz strap => 200-220 MHz 250MHz strap => 250-275 MHz So, re-introduction of "fsb hole"-type of problem. (ofcourse, this is pure speculation, but it makes sense for me )
  15. There should be media present. I've asked for a full list so we all know where to look for the pictures afterwards
  16. Hehe, Smoke screwed you big time taking #1 before the Hong Kong event, "World Champion Nick Shih" http://www.e-zone.com.hk/events_detail.php?eventid=410
  17. I tried to find it, but the dbase query returned this as result:
