  1. Pt1t showed me this on MSN, first 2600K I see with 58X multiplier: Here's what Dumo wrote on XS: Link: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=4734500&postcount=87
  2. No. The engine allows you to submit X2 with 4 functional cores, but the scores will be ranking as 4x CPU.
  3. 3x 5870 is most logical. In the past, this kind of setup was considered as 2x 5970 because the HWBOINT algorithm was based on #cards, not #cores.
  4. Haha! Earth-shattering for marketeers
  5. You can submit as many scores as you want, but only the best score will be used for the team ranking.
  6. Hey boys and girls, Next month I'll be spending my 5 days at CeBit hoping to find more hardware vendors like ADATA, GIGABYTE and MSI who support the development of this website and all of its features. Although I'm pretty capable of rambling on about overclocking for many hours (seriously, I can!), I'm not sure if that'll do the trick. After all, CeBit is (just like CES or any tradeshows) a place where promises are made all the time, marketing slogans are slammed in your face as if they carry the one and only truth. Everyone knows it, yet everyone keeps doing it. What would send a stronger message is being to provide a dozen of quotes or one-liners from the community. After all, you are building this community and making use of this website every single day. With additional resources we would (finally) be able to get an extra help on the back-end side and finish up more projects. For instance, we could finally make more work of the AMD league for all those AMD fans out there! So, my question is simple: if you want to help out HWBOT, just post a one-liner about HWBOT or, if you're really enthusiastic, a few lines on what you like about the bot. Thanks!!
  7. Yes, you can, but you won't do well in respectively 2x and 6x CPU category
  8. It's single channel, in all it's possible forms. By that I mean: you can have 3 sticks, but still only single channel.
  9. Fyi, lucky draw goes as follows: - grab al list of all resultIds from the database linked to stage or contest - randomize list on random.org - first entry on the randomized list is 'lucky winner'
  10. Winners - Mad222: - Milans: - Chew*: Lucky draw: - LopezDaVinci: http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2100857_ - Rsannino: http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2111597_
  11. Hi!
  12. No, it's correct ... you have to try and reach 0
  13. Yes, that was already confirmed. Thanks for testing the CH. Seems like a similar boost I saw going from 0801 to 0681 ~ a couple dozen FPS, but still significantly lower than GBT boards.
  14. Semi-confirmed. The reason why the PLL override is not yet in the official BIOSes (F5, F6, F7, etc) is that they are still testing the effects of this option. I picked up some rumours about possible instability effects on long-term, although at the moment this is not confirmed and just under testing.
  15. Are you adding a verification link to the score?
  16. Tried from 10°C to -60°C. -10°C = SuperPI-32M 2 loops stable -6°C = SuperPI-32M 4 loops stable -4°C = SuperPI-32M full stable Could run at -50°C in OS. To boot, I needed higher than -20°C. No frequency gain whatsoever.
