Hmm, what BIOS/AGESA?

Sneaky submissions, good to see you're still alive Sami!

Not really. I only spent a couple of hours with the platform under LN2, so I was mainly focused on getting an idea of how to get the clocks up.
More testing soon ...
-
Does that platform support WinXP?
Currently not working (and I don't think there will be any support for it)

Here's an even sadder fail (but with better memory)

Couldn't finish before my session was over

Just an ES from the stack I think. AFAIK, ES is a bit stronger than retail at the moment, but as always this will improve over the next weeks/months.
IMO 1700 non-X is the way to go ... 8c16t at 320usd is hard to beat

Excellent guide!

Will do with retail part some time next month

Sweet! What's next cooling?

Nice! Day Zero purchase?

Need to check if that one is still active actually

"Real world" is a difficult topic. Would you say X265 transcoding is real world?

Fixed

Price-wise it would probably be very similar to the existing OBT as the main restriction is on volume. Any costs we could save on material because of the size would be offset by lower production volume.

Hi everyone!
We had some requests regarding a mini version of the Open Benchtable. The designers got to work and came up with a design that is significantly smaller than the original benchtable. It uses the same pushpins, thumbscrews and brackets so it's backwards compatible. It only supports SFX power supplies and mini ITX motherboards to make it as compact as possible.
Currently this is just a proof of concept. Depending on the interest, we can consider doing a small production run.
Let us know what you think!

@Mysticial send me an email with instructions what you need to get Y-cruncher ready for Zen

Just to add/highlight some context. This is previous best Cinebench R15 for AMD consumer CPU: Niuulh`s Cinebench - R15 score: 1218 cb with a FX-9590
- 1229 with FX-9590 at 7679 MHz
- 2449 with Ryzen 7 1800X at 5200-ish MHz
:celebration:

Hit me up on Skype (pjplaisierhwbot)!

wait, can it reach 5003MHz?
Looks like if yours doesn't, you might want to throw it out
-
Well, it won't be able to run XTU since that's an Intel application.
But you will see the difference in benchmarks such as Y-cruncher and HWBOT x265 1080P/4K
Ryzen 1800X - Instant system crash when running sequence of FMA3 instructions. Request for verification.

Quickly tested here too, failed on both systems (changed memory). Also failed with higher SOC voltage.
