  1. Must be keyword issues, to the HWbot staff. That is a legit score, but it is with the E3110 Xeon CPU, which is in the description and screenshot. Also the other 2 from my team, one of them is with an A64 X2 6000+... hahahaha

    What !! ????

I think this falls under a joke. See attachment.
  3. Do you want one drive to the other, or from 1 folder to another folder on the drive?
  4. Here are a couple comparisons of SSD vs HDD performance: On the left is the Core Drive vs Seagate 7200.9 250GB on the right. This is attached to an AW9D Max (Abit) motherboard with ICH7R. These two are on an Asus P5Q3 with ICH10R. The first one (top) is the Core, second (bottom) is the Seagate. Both sets of tests were performed on the same SATA port on the respective motherboard and using the same SATA cable
  5. There already are links. 1st, you navigate here: Then you select the info for that benchmark and under that you have this: Hope that helps
  6. I can assure you it works. There are currently over 1300 reported results, you guys just have to be patient Its not like this is life or death
  7. Having someone on your team with 0 points doesn't hurt the team does it? I haven't seen a statistic that shows "avg points/member" or did I miss it?
  8. Roger that...I only have 1 4400+ and it is a Brisbane
  9. Hey... you are supposed to be on vacation....WTF you doing looking at stuff here? You young pup's...just can't leave it alone for a week, can you
  10. Exactly my point jmke .... I don't like it, I don't particularly intend to do it, but I want to know what my team is up against I think you should just say no, you can't have a "sub-team" consisting of members that have individual scores. If you have a group of guys that don't submit individual scores, that want to get together and have recognition/contribution as a group...more power to them. But for team members to just decide to get together on a weekend, then make a new user, call it a "sub-team" and have it earn over 300 points in the same categories that individually have already been granted hwboints. I don't care for it.
  11. Ok, so basically what I see and understand is this: 1) I can take my hardware (which is all giving me points and will continue to do so as I push it further) and get together with a fellow team member who also brings some of his hardware. 2) We can bench and create a new user for this "bench session" submitting all the results from it, as long as they are not any of our own scores from previous runs. 3) If these runs place that "team" in an area that earns hwboints, the sub-team and team will be credited with those points as shown in the above example. Do I have that right?
  12. Please see above. If this is going to be allowed, I need to get busy.
  13. So now this Moscow_Subteam scores should be blocked or is this legal? I can take my hardware over to another member's house, we can bench as a subteam with this hardware and add points to the team? Both members of this "sub-team" are already in the roster for the main team and are earning points for this hardware. The scores for the individuals are not the same as the scores for the sub-team, but you should not just be able to create a sub-team with existing members just to get more points... should you? Sub-team: http://www.hwbot.org/user.do?userId=10238 Individual Users on Sub-Team: http://www.hwbot.org/user.do?userId=5961 http://www.hwbot.org/user.do?userId=6680 They got together and basically added 350+ points to the team because they ran Single and Dual cards.
  14. Holy crap what am I reading here? This is a volunteer basis for the crew here, AFAIK, guys..... lighten up. That was very rude I take it these results are keeping you or your team from earning more points? Competition is one thing but, out for blood is something we don't need. Thanks for your hard work Massman
  15. Ahhh.... Well...its supposed to anyway
  16. The above referenced examples, use different hardware (Vid Card) I thought you can earn Global points if you use different cards, hasn't it always been this way?
  17. It already doesn't matter about the 3D05.... he beat it again and has submitted a new score with proper validation Although, I am curious why it does not show up when you choose to "Show All" his 3D05 scores?
  18. Daamit, I hate mistakes like that....should never have posted until crap was right !!!! ARRRGH. I sound like one of my customers now :( Anyway...the 3d05 doesn't even make it in the top 40...not sure why it was reported or blocked? Its 49th? EDIT: Ok.... Here is the correct FM Link for the 77373 3D03 score and it is correct in the forum post now: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5446469 I have also edited to put it in the score itself here at the bot.
  19. Sorry jmke...I edited my post...I provided links to scores which are not in question....sorry about that
  20. OCZTony has had 2 scores deleted for 3D03 and 3D05, can someone tell me why? 2 scores have been removed from the Hall of Fame, they should be 18th in 03 and the 05 score should be 49th, why have they been deleted? 3D03 Score/post: http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=226528&postcount=77 3D05 Score/post: http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=226526&postcount=78 The 03 score is in the top 20 and has been submitted to the orb here: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5446469 The 05 score is not in the top 20, so why has it been removed? Last night everything was fine and points were awarded, now nothing.
  21. Yes it does not seem to affect the newer bench's much if at all, but we still bench the old ones and count them as meaning something.
  22. In your opinion That is built right into the control panel of the driver with no access to other settings, not a cheat, a tweak. Using Rivatuner/ATI Tool to access other levels, even though they are part of the driver, to me is circumventing what is built in by ATI/Nvidia, which makes it unethical (there, I will change what I call it)
  23. I am not trying to say you guys need to police it. Although if you could...that would be great I am just saying...that IMO, its a cheat, not a tweak. My opinion is very much in the minority, but discussions rather than arguments are always good
  24. If the bench was designed to run with them on...then I don't agree to disabling them. I mean do we accept scores not run at default resolution? Why can't I just lower the resolution so I get a better score? Same as reducing the level of detail, isn't it? I don't have a problem with tweaking the timings, the speeds, enabling or disabling things in the OS, running a different OS (like win2000 mentioned above) I mean there is no other bench where we actual change how the bench is run, just the 3D benches. SuperPi...nobody changes the program, they change the environment the program runs in. IMO LOD, and the related, modify the execution of the code which means you are no longer running the same program.
