TridentX + Z77X-UD5H: Set TRRD=7
You are FAE or 'technical' marketing, same as dino, only dino has the balls to admit it, and not manipulate. To my knowledge, Leeghoofd is a hobby overclocker, and not a professional representing a company - I might be wrong, but I do think that was the difference he was refering to. Alby; I admire that you keep on fighting for a better BIOS, I gave up after trying 9 of them(sorry, 12 was total amount across 2 boards), I simply just ended up branding the board as insuffecient, due BIOS. Great hardware all the way through, it really is a pitty that the BIOS doesnt justify the hardware, Gigabyte used to have the best, but tides have changed - I am still waiting for another change, bringing my favorite motherboard vendor back on top of the game. pro; Problem for many(hint hint; ME, the GINGER), is that if you dont have a XMP, such as when you are binning cheap samsung ram - you are pretty much fucked. EDIT; Fixed count, 3 BIOS tried on another board, 9 on UD5H... Pardon my ignorance of fast posting!!

Ivy Bridge 3570K/3770K Batch and Serial Numbers
Sin.... There is a bug, of which causes that one need high vdimm for ram, for no obvious reason,, its one of many bugs, and it was relevant in response to why the high vdimm.... The other 'isnt correct' part, maybe you should read what I wrote again.... But lets keep it to add value this thread.

Hold your horses Massy 8-12-8 is 1300-1350mhz land, air... 7/8-10/11-7/8 is 1250mhz land Atleast for PSC that is. However Samsung is extreme value for money..

A sandbag incoming by ASRock...
3. ASRock will soon claim some 7 GHZ on their "NEW OC FORMULA BOARD"... How did you get 'will soon claim' to equal that they have claimed? 'claim' is that past? Its odd, in my dictionary that would be 'claimed'

Pick me pick me pick me!

Hey. I don't hate ASUS!

A sandbag incoming by ASRock...
SoF I'll put 100 Euro on Gigabyte and ASUS sending out more ultra-binned CPUs then ASRock.. I am looking forward to trying this board. - I wont get a CPU shipped with the board, I've binned 5 CPUs myself, I got a 3218C021, a bit weaker then my buddy Rosty's... I will bribe him with a burger and beer to try my CPU on his crazy cascade

Getting Z77-UD5H over 1.80vCore?
Should be solved with different/newer BIOS.

Hey. I don't hate ASUS!
Actually you wouldnt know, nor have any saying in such a matter, its not within your job role, and it will never become so. - Lets keep it on topic from this point on, you can start some sort of chat and invite me, or wait for a livestream - if you want to mess around - Im leaving OT from this point on.

Hey. I don't hate ASUS!
Sure that sounds like the excuse of the 'American' marketing staff... But, Porsche aint selling track day cars? Cars er not sold without stereo or aircondition? Its excuses man, dont let them feed you with that crap. Dont get me wrong, not saying Gigabyte are bad, Im saying they are not paying attention to feedback, not admitting wrongs, its a 'I work in Taiwan' thing I guess.... Perfection is not a goal, deception is - and it is a generel thing, also something that makes me a bit calm, as it makes both American and Taiwanese companies a bit less competitive (and French...)

Hey. I don't hate ASUS!
You are a big fan of IC's.... I can take a bunch of pictures and tell you which.... Nah just going to tell you, and I think you will agree.... SATA3; It was a no brainer that it should not have been on the board, if going for PCMark, you'd hit a PCI-E card... USB3; Again, no reason for it on a bench card... Both just add on the cost side, without benefitting the group that is likely to buy the product, and no, I dont think it is a bad product, but those things mentioned, I sure reported long before the board was launched, and they were defended - for no real reason except 'we no make mistakes'

Hey. I don't hate ASUS!
Dont have RMA experience with them.
-
Hey. I don't hate ASUS!
Good time to announce my experience with Gigabyte RMA.... I won a board in Gigabyte fan contest 2010, the board lost a couple ram channel/dimm shortly after.... Guess what, RMA = impossible, despite I know quite alot of staff.... So wouldnt exactly call their RMA perfect.... eVGA, Gigabyte, ASUS all got terrible RMA.. Please note; I am not suggesting ASUS RMA is good, because it isnt - I am suggesting that RMA is hell on earth when not being from a store, unless its Corsair, which has freaking awesome RMA support.
