Will write my full opinions later. But with this ranking, how would you compensate for an average when the team does not have 10 or 20 different hw submissions?
Also it does seem wrong to not make it about hw ranking instead of actual benchmark score. A top score with an old but golden cpu would be rather pointless in the global rankings. Look at msi beat the fastest comp for example. Team points could be the sum of individual hw points for top 10/20 team members submissions in each benchmark.

Another good score!

Great score! What did you run your mem at?
XTU continues to hate me. I got 1520 something at 5800 MHz when I tried it real quick With mems at 3000C11 which is similar to like 3600 c14 when I tested on air...

Don't have audity on my MB. There are many voltages that help or may help with different things such as CB, CBB or of course frequency and memory. I don't think anyone has the whole picture just yet. You still have to try everything out. But a good start is the ASUS and the MSI guides.

First touch on skylake!
L526B899 Batch 6700k. No delid yet.
VID 1.21v
5ghz Hwbot prime 1.39v
I got one of the same batch. Have tested 8 6700K so far. When I tested mine it seemed to scale very much with temperature and not so much with volts. My feeling is that it might be good. Bought two more after that one but they were bad
Haven't tested on LN2 yet but my best L526B899 does 5GHz HWBOT Prime at 1.38V. 4.9GHz at 1.31V. Boot windows 7 5GHz at 1.39V. Not delidded yet.

It's for the Galax GOC. That's why it is Z170.

300€ then. Last call

Shouldn't low clock benchmarks feature something that most cpus can handle without a single stage or better cooling. Or risks the hardware? 5g xtu seems too high. Physics as well. Superpi not so much but many 6700k can't do 5 ghz superpi at all on air/water...
-
Only on LN2. But haswells are pretty linear when it comes to scaling on both volts and cold.
-
350€ perhaps?

Thanks for the replies guys!

How do you guys get the kryonaut to such low temps without cracking? Tried Z170 on LN2 for the first time today and got the crack at -145. This was with my Kingpin EE with supertight mount! Springs fully compressed. And they are quiet sturdy...
Do you use a thin or a little thicker layer?
-
Perfect timing! Will bench my first session with this board tomorrow
Thank you for the guide. Such guides are invaluable!

Great result! But no systeminfo?

Have one for sale: http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=146276

No, sorry. But I expect it to perform very well. It should boot windows at 5 GHz somewhere between 1.25-1.3V. Don't hold me to this though as I haven't tested it.

You need Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 x86!

Hi
Selling a very good 4770K. Does 3Dmark05 4C/4T at 6.3 GHz with 1.65V. Only used twice on LN2. Not delidded. Batch L318B359. Cache is good for up to 6 GHz, didn't push it on the results below. CB around -130. No problem with IMC either, only tried Samsung but 2880 MHz 9-12-12 tight was fine (max for my mems).
Used in the Gigabyte Z97 Last Hurrah comp:
GPUPI - 6.15 GHz: http://hwbot.org/submission/2941544_rauf_gpupi_for_cpu___1b_core_i7_4770k_4min_26sec_69ms

You are very fast to reply!
I meant about the spd for quad kits giving problem overclocking on z170. Have seen reported that two mems from a quad kit overclocks worse on z170 than four the same mems on x99.
-
My board will arrive today Hope Pepi can share bios and tools soon
By the way Strat, no issues overclocking quad kits for you?
-
Thanks!
Command center light would be nice as well!

I like the MB, thinking about getting one. But I see you are using special bios (T0P) and it does not seem to be available anywhere. Anyone willing to share?
