Set of timings for DDR3 Elpida Hyper
MaddMutt replied to bolc's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
I know this may seem like a stupid question : I have a set of Dom GT 2000__ 8-8-8-24 v2.1 = IIRC hypers 1) Test the memory on a newer system - z87/97 with a 4770/90. This would show you what the memory is capable of - YES?? <- Take settings back to older system when benching?? 2) Test the memory on the system that you plan on benching - 1366/1155. This will show what the memory can do on this MB/IMC - YES?? <- The memory may be a potato on a 775/1155 but excellent on a 1150/2011?? Thank You For Your Time In Reading and Replying -
Nice :-) You going to bench more cards with this setup?

Thanks ?

Dear Sir, In the WORDING for submitting a CB-xx score -> it states : you need to have the tabs (From CPU-Z) CPU and Memory open when taking a verification screen shot <- In the screen shot YOU HAVE (3) Tabs open -> CPU, Motherboard, and Memory. IIRC we have been requiring all 3 tabs for proper verification. SO Which is the proper way?? Please correct the requirements. We do not want to confuse the new people. Thank You ?

The official Challenger 2022 Div III Round 1 thread.
MaddMutt replied to OVIZ Hardware Lab's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I had an odd/weird submission - I submitted my Vantage run for the comp - it got stuck at " Your sub is pending as there is another sub currently being process. <- I know that's not what it really says BUT you still understand ? It stayed like this for 10+ sec, so I clicked to refresh my browser. I got the same ^ response ^ BUT I had another page open at the bot and was able to see AND check this submission. I went back to my original page, it's now at like 30+ seconds -> it was still stuck at pending <- and refreshed the page again. It again stated that my sub was pending, so I just closed the page and came here to post a comment. Like I said, I can still see, modify, it's been scored, ect, ect so I'm happy, it's just weird.. Thanks -
I just grabbed a i7-2600k & Asus M4E-Z for benching

Thanks for the tips ? I was able to set CPU to 1.4v and CPU PLL to 1.9v-2.0v = BLCK 106. Must also have CPU PLL ov allowed. The cpu has hit 5.4ghz with 1.625v (2 cores enabled for sp-32m and cpu frequency) on a 360mm aio. Now it is just a matter of tighting the memory timings before I install the SS for benching ? Thank You -
I have looked through many but not all of the post in this section. All of the ones I looked at no longer have pictures or external Links that work ? Here is my problem that others will have when grabbing this setup. The memory that I have will run faster than 2133 or 2400 if the BIOS would boot that high. I have G.Skill Trident DR3-2000 9-9-9-27 (BBSE), Corsair Dominator GT DDR3-2133 9-10-9-24 (PSC), and G.Skill Trident X DDR3-2666 11-13-13-35 (CFR). With DDR5 now required, DDR3-2000/2133/2400 are plentiful and cheap. You still have to pay for faster memory with tighter timings 2133 @ 8-8-8-24, speeds over 2400, high overclocking IC's, ect, ect -> I'm looking to overclock the BLCK faster than 102.8 ? I have a i7-2600k - Stepping-7 Revision-D2 and a Asus M4E-Z with bios 3603 (11/09/2012). I have seen submissions with a 105-108 BLCK on this setup. Can you please list CPU, Socket, Motherboard that are allowed for submissions for each Challenger 2022 Div I,II, III, ect, ect. Thank You :-)

A good habit to have for submissions : include 4 tabs from cpu-z. CPU, MB, MEM, And SPD as this keep’s complaints from happening :-) Keep working on getting that memory tighter. It’s B-Die so it is capable of 3866 or 4000 at 12-12-28 1T. You just need to reduce the amount of memory windows uses to 2.5GB + increase memory to 1.825v for 3866 and more v to get to 4000. Have fun benching - thumbs up.

WOW :-) Awesome Work.
