  1. I just saw the title "Massman member discussion thread. " and thought "wooohoooo here is the place we are all bashing the lil' massi (another time)" but reading a bit what is it actually all about?! don't get the point...if somebody searches me - I am benching my shadyb1tch which seems to have degraded a bit

  2. Hi all,

today stummerwinter finally took an attack on my SandyBridge-Scores and gave me a lesson about how to run the new chip on 1m & 32m

    Stummerwinter's 32m 5537 MHZ 6 min 11s

    SoF's 32m 5347 MHZ 6 min 47s

But then there came my time - wprime32m and this evening he told me "haha I got u"

And there was my reply

beating stummerwinter is just priceless :D

Now I need to bench some 1m, 32m and pifast - a week holidays left so be sure I try everything on that baby...need more internal VPLL!!!!!

did I mentioned he got that chip from my "pre-orders" ? damn he seems to got lucky :P

  3. Hi,

thought I'd post my findings with 5x 2600K here. First the CPUs:

    8cpus.jpg

    pymide1s.jpg

    2500kshot.jpg

    sealedc.jpg

The results of 5 CPUs (4C/8T):

    1 bad CPU

47x100 ~without internal PLL voltage override

50x100 ~1.48V no boot with PLLv tweak

    1 ok CPU

49x100 ~1.38V without internal PLL voltage override

    3 good CPUs

50x100 ~1.38V without internal PLL voltage override

For finding good CPUs you need 50x100 with 1.4V or less booting then your chip has potential I would say. For all day find chips that run cool - I had differences of 5-10°C per Chip with same paste and cooler. But the cooler chips didn't ran that well :(

    Batch of all 2600K I had: L040B165

  4. 01 isn't supported by FM anymore, ORB is gone for this bench.

and how does this help in any way? why not trying to help instead beeing like FM....

Is it an old windows which you ran 01 a zillion times? try what turrican said I think it'll help.

Another possibility (but I don't think that will happen with a bench windows) you have installed it with User a and now you are logged-in as User b and don't have write access to that specific folder. check the user rights then.

  5. This reminds me of the movie "Creepy guy in next door's garden".

Obviously the role of creepy guy was played by Nicole Kidman

(good this thread is in offtopic already)

wow looks like she was at the botox-buy-one-get-two-day

Or prolly this is a picture of you during last carnival? :D
