  1. I only remember a handful of people complaining about the way it is now. Those are the same talking about hardware sharing as well. I would vote just leave it alone but that option isn't available unless you are considering "... oh, and also, I don't like changes" that option. I can't tell though as the last option is either worded weird or have some slick message hidden behind it. I like changes just not this change. A simple "no" or "leave it the way it is" would have been sufficient. Definitely not voting for Alternative #2 even though it is the closet thing to what we have. Can't because it has the latest proposal clinging on to it. Again, my 2 cents.
  2. So what's the point of only allowing 20% of my hardware points to go towards the team points instead of the full 100%? All this just encase somebody is hardware sharing but for those that aren't your beat, only 20% of your hardware points count for the team. It all seems the same whether you use only 20% or 100% I just don't get why change. In the end it really doesn't matter to me whether you give me 1 point or 1,000 points. I overclock daily just for the fun of it not because I'm a bot. I once was sucker to thinking the bot put the overclock in overclocking but no longer think that a way and haven't for a year now. The bot has and does provide a nice service. I appreciate the guys that have put there everything into the bot and what it is today.
  3. This hardware sharing is getting blown way out of proportion. Kinda reminds me of 1999 and all the Y2K freaks trying to spook everybody else about the year 2000. ROFL Just leave it the way it is. All you can do is put your trust in that people won't abuse the system. Like everything else in this world there will be those that do. What can ya do? Catch them if you can.
  4. Even at that though what if you sell your hardware to someone else? Then they will be submitting results with your sold hardware with that ID. Then what do you have to do, jump thru hoops to prove you sold it to them?
  5. Alot of people don't have local PC shops where they can just go down and pick thru the CPU's and get the batch # they like, for instance me. I rely on internet shops and for them to pick the batch for me so here is a scenario that happens and I know I have seen at several forums. A member goes down to his local computer store and finds a known great overclocking batch # CPU and starts a thread on it. He states that they have 3 more at this local store and if anyone is interested let him know and he will pick them one up if they paypal him the money. So next thing you know 4 members have bought the same batch # of CPU's and all 4 are overclocking almost similar in clocks. All 4 members submit results around the same time or even at separate times. Now to the hardware sharing police they are calling foul because there are 4 similar results with the same model # CPU being submitted at the bot by the same team. What can ya do? Nothing because no matter how many pictures, screenshots, tabs you require there is no way of determining who or what is being bought, sold or shared. I don't believe the problem is as big as some are making it out to be. About the only possible solution I can see is if the Bot starts requiring bill of sale to be uploaded but that in itself would open a can of worms like no other. If it came down to that many would prolly walk a way as it isn't that serious. Even at that though a cheater will find a way to cheat and prolly just alter the bill of sale or make up a bogus one.
  6. Haha nice one steponz!!!! 7ghz + P55 = FTW. No chrolls* allowed!!!!
  7. I just wish we could all get along and bench but we can't because the world is filled with a bunch of hate-a-laters. Guess I can still dream though. Who knows, maybe I'm one of those hate-a-laters in their eyes too.
  8. You did nothing wrong Sweet and your post in no way offended me. It takes alot to offend me actually. Over the last year though there have been some, and they know who they are, that have tried their hardest to accuse, shake up and cause drama. They live off that type of stuff. I would rather see those dealt with than trying to go done this never ending road of hardware sharing. There is no way to police it.
  9. I really don't care and sorry if that offends people. It is just overclocking computers. What pisses me off more than people sharing are the people chrolling and accusing all the time without any factual stuff. Then they want to do nothing but start drama and problems. There is no way of policing it or I might be in tuned to it. End of story . Wish we could move on with life from this broken record we spin day in and day out. People need to get up, get out and get some if this is all they have time for is to complain and whine. Just my 2 cents. I'm out and won't be back to entertain this idea any longer.
  10. To be honest I really don't care if people share or not. Doesn't seem there is any real way of determining it unless the person admits to it. What I do care about is the people crying about it all the time and making false claims about it. Is there anyway we can do something about that? Gets old real fast. This would be great but what if the CPU/GPU was sold. Then this would be pointless. It's just impossible to find a way to stop it as the person could always fall back on the excuse the hardware was sold not shared. Then how could you prove it wasn't sold?
  11. All the thousands and thousands of dollars I have spent over the past few years just for it to be nothing now.
  12. @ splave - Don't plug in to the douche.
  13. Too many people jumping to too many conclusions if you ask me.
  14. ROFL!!!! You sir crack me up! All I gots to say is ride on little broom stick cowboy ride on.
  15. Hella score man. Keep at it, you get that top spot before long!
  16. Great run Splave! Too many haters, whiners, and false reporters at the bot lately. Can't believe this guy is trying to compare a 4.7ghz CPU clock run to a 5.4ghz CPU run. ROFL.
  17. Nice monster run man! What was the cpu running at? Can ya hook us up with a screenie maybe?
