  1. Question from a rookie team member for round 3. Using the basic/free version of 3dmark doesn't show temperatures in the program, nor on the online submission. What do?
  2. Judges: for round 3, how do you monitor the temperatures to ensure they are above X degrees? Is it only via screenshot of the 3D Mark application, or are the temps logged and visible on the submission page on 3dmark.com?
  3. Yup, even found the original X that was used: http://www.mobileextras.com.au/Portals/0/Extreme_logo_F.jpg
  4. Winners have been contacted from Gigabyte, so presumably they all need to confirm before announced here?
  5. *sniff* THANK YOU GIGABYTE and HWBOT for the awesomeness that is my lucky dip prize.
  6. +1. Nice to have a competition that's a little bit different in the benchmarks and doesn't need top line hardware/cooling to even be in the running.
  7. I found a GT 450 that I pulled from a HTPC a few weeks back, first run is 1950. So I was able the score down a little. And yeah, cpu clocks to the area, then gpu clocks to finish.
  8. Looks like I wasn't the only one with an overpowered GPU, First run, with gpu and cpu clocks super low, 7.5k
  9. Please give me access to this link: http://news.hwbot.org/Competitions/1008_GigabyteTargetOc/target_paticipants_1920x1080_4.jpg
  10. RIP HWBot servers... EDIT: Or not, all my subs failed with "No client version given, required version: 0.8.1,0.8.2,0.8.3,1.0.1,1.0.2" error message.
  11. Well, it was a guess. Maybe we need to await richba5tard for the official answer?
  12. 99% sure it's the screenshot. Try comparing a single colour background, to an image with lots going on.
  13. 4 rounds to enter into the lucky draw, 5 if you want an extra chance in said draw. Win any of the rounds, and your removed from lucky draw.
  14. That would be actually rather fun. Split time between tweaking and closing in the score, whilst uploading on another system to keep you within range in case no one hits it spot on. That or we limit the number of submissions to 1? And any submissions before the start time = disqualification.
  15. What, you don't have screenshots of all scores from 150 to 180 ready to go just in case?
  16. Nope, completely normal, I think? If you "follow" a user, their results appear on your wall. Hence emiliano_b has followed Nacho_Arroyo, and get's his subs on his wall.
  17. Hey guys, I was browsing the hardware info pages today, and realised that the CPU page is really poorly laid out compared to GPUs. So take a look at the 4770K page: Now compare it to any old GPU: GPUs have their benchmarks arranged quasi-alphabetical, grouped with the other benchmarks from the same family. CPUs are all over the place. Cinebench R15 has points, yet it's 4th from the bottom?? What I'd like to propose is to have CPUs cleaned up like GPUs, in to grouped alphabetical order as part 1. Part 2, which I'd prefer, but requires debate, would be to have alphabetical listing of benchmarks with points on top, of alphabetical listing of the nonpoints/old/beta benchs below it. If the software allows it, maybe have this as a toggle at the top, so I can hide non points benchmarks? I can throw together some mock ups, but I was wondering what others thought?
