  1. If not, new gpus for Christmas. If they are still alive, hopefully no one asks why I lubed them up with Vaseline...
  2. Wait, so it opens Today (10th) and yet it started on the 6th? Someone copy/paste the dates wrong?
  3. Might I suggest some variations on the versions? A 'Core' package of all the applications that are worth points for 2D or 3D, and a 'Full' package of all the benchmarks, because there will always be someone that will bench a CPU or GPU for the golden cups.
  4. What version of the VC redistributable did you install? I had the same issue last night, and found that I needed the 2010 version (tried the 2008 one first) of vcredist for it to work. (Win7 64bit...)
  5. Maybe I should pay attention to it in the future... I'll submit something proper (under 8min...) tomorrow.
  6. Sir. I tried as hard as I could. Please do not junk my score unless you can do better. Good day to you sir!
  7. XTU doesn't play nicely with in windows overclocking. If you booted into Windows at stock settings, and upped the multiplyer, XTU won't detect the speed change. When in doubt, screenshot of cpuz windows are always handy.
  8. I only deleted that score to appease my team mates, to allows them to regain those lovely global/hw team power points... So in that case, I'll keep a note of it for when I grab a 4770k down the line. Thanks for looking into it anyway massman (et al. hwbot staff).
  9. Necroing this thread to ask... Is changing LOD possible for DX11 based benchmarks for ATI cards? So far I've only managed to get SETLOD to work on DX9. Not sure if I'm making a mistake, or this is normal/by design.
  10. I still think I broke something, with deleting my higher score. If you click on 'Not fatboynotsoslim's best submission.' it takes you to this lovely error page: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2413367/better/global/ :-S
  11. If you take a look at my 3770k submit for XTU, http://hwbot.org/submission/2413367_fatboynotsoslim_xtu_core_i7_3770k_1157_marks it says that I have a better global one, and won't get points. I deleted that better one, (was a 4770k, one time WR with points disabled), a few days ago, and today when I tried to recalculate, it wasn't working. Can someone investigate so that my 3770k is my only XTU submit, and is scored correctly. EDIT: It also doesn't correctly show when I view the XTU page, where it shows personal best, nor in the rankings for global points.
  12. I did some more testing today with other drivers, and found that it didn't matter. I also noted that the HWbot AM3 process was still going in the process, using about 5-10% cpu on 1 core until stopped/rebooted. Also, once again, only on my AMD cards. Nividia still fine. GENiEBEN, I'll be PMing you shortly with a score from 2.26 that I'd like uploaded. - Thanks.
  13. This is with 2.27 and ...104 linked above. Have yet to try 2.26 yet. Win7 64bit, brand new install. Iirc, catalyst 13.4 drivers are all I've tried/had an installer for at the time. Thinking back, I think I made some radeon 5850 submits last week, and 2.27 worked then. Just not this week with the 7970. If you need anything specific or more information, I can provide it in about 12hrs... Please excuse spelling mistakes, on my phone right now.
  14. 2.27 doesn't open the window for me after runs aswell. That said, only happening on my 7970lightning, Nvidia cards not affected. Driver related perhaps?
  15. Maybe I shouldn't have slept in last weekend and turned up? NB. where does 'liquid' rank on the 'OPA' scale?
  16. I'm sure I can. I was playing with core and voltage firstly, and within a few minutes card wasn't booting. Pretty sure I missed some places to condensation, so I'll try again tomorrow.
  17. Pretty much, yeah. A rudamentory way to do it is, looking at the following: http://hwbot.org/hardware/videocard/geforce_gtx_670/ - 3,740 submissions http://hwbot.org/hardware/videocard/geforce_gtx_680/ - 6,646 submissions Find the database table where the number of submissions comes from, export it with the cards name in one column, and the submissions in another.
  18. Then is it possible to see the most popular hardware as a list somewhere? The one on this page, http://hwbot.org/hardware/videocards, isn't very useful.
  19. As above, any chance on having the HHI as an actual page, or being able to view/search the DB in some manner? Ie, I want to grab some more GPUs to bench for points. As we all know, more subs for cards = more points in it == popular cards are worth the points. Is there anyway to see a ranking of cards for the number of submissions? As currently, I'm doing this manually, and might be missing some.
