Lays Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) I have an old CPU-Z validation from a long time ago with my 3930k at 5 ghz, I've sold it since then though so I can't test again. I wanted to submit it, but it was named after my PC, and not after my HWBOT name. (Darren-PC) was the name it was submitted as, and not "Lays" I wasn't involved with HWBOT back then, so I didn't know any better. Is there any way I can fix this and use it? Or am I crap outta luck? Could I provide other types of proof, like the email it was sent to, as well as pictures of my old system + a picture showing that I am indeed the person that received the CPU-Z dump? The email I use now for submissions with CPU-Z is also the same exact email I used back then, would that help any? Edited June 8, 2015 by Lays Quote
Taloken Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 if you still have the .cvf file, you can revalidate it at valid.canardpc.com with the correct name ^^ Quote

Apfelkuchen Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Should be fine if you clarify in submission comment. 5GHz on a 3930K isn't exactly unheard of, so I think that's okay. If you were to submit a top ten score, that would be a different story. Quote
Crew Don_Dan Posted June 10, 2015 Crew Posted June 10, 2015 Send me a screenshot of the e-mail and a link to your submission, I'll mark it as checked by a moderator. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted June 10, 2015 Crew Posted June 10, 2015 if the CPU-Z validation is that old it might no longer be accepted anyway by CPU-Z... Quote
