Inno3d GTS 250 512mb BIOS Flashing Possible?

Featured Replies

Hello. I have an Inno3d GTS 250 512mb. The thing is... It has 1.05v as its stock...

Can I flash... Let's say, an ASUS GTS 250 512mb BIOS that has 1.3v as its stock???

Is it possible?

Possibly, depends on the memory chips at least (maybe other things as well).

Save the old bios, in case you have to blind flash if you try it.

i see... If it is possible... Then I still might have a chance of getting more juice out of my GPU...

My first guess is no. Definitely a different PCB layout, a fair chance of using different PWM controllers.

If you're using a "Green" GTS250, you're probably out of luck for good clocking

I've tried it, but no luck.

Had a black screen on first boot.

Had to reflash it with a pci card to get it working again.

You could try bios editor if it's possible to alter the voltage, but here it didn't work eighter.
