July 8, 200817 yr Benchtec using ‘disable processing’ to gain points in hwbot. It has been brought to the attention of Benchtec, that disable processing has possibly been used when running 3Dmark05 & 06 by some over zealous team members. Benchtec Team would apologise this possible infringement of the rules of Hwbot. This has arisen from team members issuing screen shots only and not accompanied by an Orb link. The team membership has taken this allegation seriously and many team members have withdrawn screenshot submissions only, whether disable processing was used or not, and will resubmit with the relevant Orb link. As this is the only way some members regard going forward to clear the Team and stop allegations. It would be inappropriate for the Team to comment on the Rules or implementation of the Rules at this time.
July 9, 200817 yr Thanks for this notification. Its a particularly notorious and sometime hard to spot 'cheat'.
