December 15, 20177 yr Members Nice! But you need a better cpu and higher volts! Thanks! I know, but it's a cpu I borrowed from a friend as when my MOCF died in September it turns out it also killed my cpu (6700k) but I didn't find out till after I'd got my ln2 haha, so borrowed the cpu and wanted to play it safe in case I had to buy him a new cpu if I killed it Was the first time with the card as well, also first couple of sessions with the board, so will definitely be something I'll be coming back to!

Love to hear your opinion on going MOCF to Apex, I'm kinda doing the same myself Thanks, and kind of, was hoping for a replacement from RMA but got a refund instead, and Splave was kind enough to offer his Apex at a good price (since shock horror he doesn't have much use for it! ) Only had a couple of sessions with it, got it the same day I got the ln2, so far not been able to get mem to run as nicely, haven't been able to go fullpot (although can reboot at lower temps than mocf). Whether it's better or worse I've no real idea, since I was a bit of a noob with the mocf, and I just haven't spent anytime with the apex yet. (also it being a different chip meant learning that as well )
