yosarianilives Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 What are some good sources for socket replacement on motherboards inside the US? I've got a z97 ocf and a m7i with sockets that are missing pins and won't post. Or would I be better off to just go through Asus and Asrock for the replacement? Would it generally matter that the m7i is plastidipped? Quote
d0minat0r Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Theoretically you can buy new socket with soldered ball and solder on MB but after that this MB is not for subzero better way is bus a new MB Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted August 16, 2018 Crew Posted August 16, 2018 Tried writing vendors themselves? Once I wrote Gigabyte about the same issue and they actually repaired my board for free. Great service from them. Quote
