Coffee Lake Mods info

I'm looking for some information on Coffee Lake mods. I have a Z170 Extreme3 and soon a Maximus VIII Impact, and would like to use them with an 8350k. What would I have to do to get the pairing to work?

Also, if I wanted it to work with an 8700k, what other things would I have to do beyond just the mods needed for an 8350k?

M8I works just fine with 8350k, check the Maximus VIII thread for CFL bios and instructions.  I haven't had success with 8700k on it but that may be due to not being able to isolate the required pins.

No board mod but you need an EEPROM flasher.

@sabishiihito Do you have an eBay link to such a tool? And I would assume a bios chip puller. Last time I pulled a bios chip without one I bent the pins, but I was replacing it anyways.
