October 3, 20187 yr I'm looking for some information on Coffee Lake mods. I have a Z170 Extreme3 and soon a Maximus VIII Impact, and would like to use them with an 8350k. What would I have to do to get the pairing to work? Also, if I wanted it to work with an 8700k, what other things would I have to do beyond just the mods needed for an 8350k? October 5, 20187 yr M8I works just fine with 8350k, check the Maximus VIII thread for CFL bios and instructions. I haven't had success with 8700k on it but that may be due to not being able to isolate the required pins. Edited October 5, 20187 yr by sabishiihito

October 5, 20187 yr Author @sabishiihito Do you have an eBay link to such a tool? And I would assume a bios chip puller. Last time I pulled a bios chip without one I bent the pins, but I was replacing it anyways.
