Has anything tried running these in extreme conditions? This variant seems to have potential, as it's able to boot 4500 cl19 at 1.45v. Certainly not b-die, but Hynix tends to scale with cold very well. It's also very inexpensive.

Only ambient usage here, but had the same G.Skill kit with SK Hynix H5AN8G8NCFR-TFC a few months ago. The kit was HCI-Memtest-stable e. g. @ 3866/16-20-20, 3600/15-19-19 and 3333/14-18-18 at 1.35 Volt if you care about scaling. I raised tRCD and tRP simultaneously, so maybe one can handle lower values.

@Hyperhorn That's pretty interesting. Have you tried scaling at ~2v? 3600 cl15 is pretty impressive at 1.35v, even if the rest of the timings aren't great.

The kit was just part of a review aimed at mainly gamers for daily usage, so unfortunately not. But the kit is still here. So if I find some time for additional tests, I can add some results here.

Looks like it's the week for unexpectedly good mem ICs, definitely one to keep a watch on.

Those are on the gskill sniper series for quite a while now and were tested a lot - new and surprising depends on how much you look into the market

@websmile About how long have they been on the market for? Also, do you know what other kits have this IC? 

EDIT: Shoot, you're right. These have been out quite a while. But maybe overclocking info beyond just everyday stuff may come soon.
