7700K air vs used AIO Liquid cooler? (Tight Budget)

I want to help my son OC his 7700K we are purchasing used. He currently has a G4560 with stock cooler and the 7700K should be on the way soon.

The seller also has a used EVGA 120mm AIO water cooler he will sell me for $20 used.

We've maxed out his budget for this 7700K, 1060 SC GPU, and 750W PSU we bought. So I'm not even sure if the stock Intel G4560 cooler will work on the 7700K. But would it be an option to use the G4560's cooler on the 7700K and keep it at stock speeds until he had money for a better solution? Or should he jump on this AIO for $20?
