for 8600 you should try CL34 and adjust your TRFC-Timings.
I can also boot 8600 with 13900k CL34 but at the moment not 100% stable

Bios X6o

Tachyon Z690 early board near release.

Memory Trident Z5 F5-8000J4048F24GX2-TZ5RK

13900KS

I Am just doing XMP and manually keeping VDD2 at 1.45

Active cooling on memory (fans)

I can get 7400 going and just testing with Memtest Deluxe.

for that i can set VDD2 1.30 and VCCSA auto's to 1.25.

7600 errors within 2% not a ton but like a slow ticker..

Any Tips?

Have you tried cross-flashing with Tachyon X bios?

  • Author

Never tested it, because I only use XOC bios for my boards and don’t have z790x or XOC bios at the moment

in the first post is now X6f bios with my profiles for 12900k and AVX512 (A- and M-die)

Flashed in Bios without any problems, cmos clean, limp, restart, retry everything works fine. Microcode selection is only visible with 12th gen CPU`s!

@BOBKOC

If you will still have problems, I don`t know what you do wrong or it`s your hardware what makes so many problems.

maybe it`s your GPU which makes so many problems, please try differen GPU and DONT FLASH Bios in OS!!!

I want to flash it to z790 xoc, how can I do it ? How can I fix if it's brick the BIOS Port (I know that tachyon has 2 BIOS but just in case). Also, z690 can be flashed into tachyon x XOC ? Already thanks for answer if there is any ! Have a good day :)

hello, you must have to flash the last x7p bios for z690, it's the same as z790 and z790 x.

there is no reason to crossflash to z790 bios

Hello, so I flashed X7P (Z690) for my z690 tachyon, I can't get 7800 stable.

My ram kit is 7800 c36 g.skill, no ram fan on it.

So to get 7600, I just set XMP and memory system multipler on 7600.

13900K

1.40vdd

1.45vdd2

1.2 SA

RDEQ 2

Didn't change anything other.

Could someone help me please ?

Your Vddq/vdd2 voltages are too high for XMP let them @auto and check it it start. Also RDEQ2 is only in some cases necessary, you can let it @auto for XMP

You have to switch the bios selector on 1st o 2nd position, and if you want to flash only one bios, you have to move the dual bios switch on the position "single bios"

What cpu have you? With my 12600k i can reach 7200/7400 c36, btw with a 13900k i can reach 8200c36. I have 1 kit 2*24gb gskill, one at 6400c32 trident-z5 neo rgb, and 1 kit 2*24gb trident-z5 8000c40
