January 8, 201214 yr Looks like the new Llanos don't play nice with gigabyte boards and cpuz, doesn't matter what bios. Assuming this doesn't get fixed before the comp is over, will a screenshot of EasyTune suffice for mem freq? Edited January 9, 201214 yr by just_nuke_em
January 9, 201214 yr We had this issue during the Country Cup too. Have you tried: - installing the chipset drivers - putting the memory in the dram socket nearest to the cpu We had the issue fixed.
January 9, 201214 yr Author Yeah, tried the various drivers on gigabyte's site, didn't help. Haven't tried the closest dram slot. Only used the outer ones on my runs so far. I'll give it a shot later. Thanks.
January 24, 201214 yr how are enthusiast class OCers supposed to compete against people running LN2, kind of a one sided competition, no offence to the people who do use extreme cooling methods such as LN2, its just unfair to the enthusiast class to be placed in competition with people thats sporting LN2
January 28, 201214 yr Author Finally got back around to messing with this chip. Putting the ram in the slot closest to the socket worked.
January 29, 201214 yr okay, spent two whole days to figure out how to do more than 162 MHz ref clock on air and more than 170 MHz under cold. No way
January 29, 201214 yr Author Yeah... you guys getting over 160 will have to shed some light on that works when this is over. Hitting my head against the wall on that one.
