Tazzler Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I'm quite often on the HWbot site and look for different results. I just want to know what you can manage with every CPU or gfx. But IMO it would be even more interesting if you could see what every component was cooled with. So you can imagine what you could probably manage with your water cooled system for example. So why not obligate to tell what the CPU or gfx was cooled with? I hope you get the point despite my English. Tazzler Quote
Tazzler Posted January 16, 2007 Author Posted January 16, 2007 True! Ok, maybe obligating would go to far and people it would be too easy to cheat. What about an optional box where you could write what you cooled with, because a lot of people don't write it in the description. Maybe more people would tell what they cooled with. And I think that way it wouldn't be difficult to add the feature without a lot work. Quote
Tazzler Posted January 16, 2007 Author Posted January 16, 2007 No, I don't want a ranking. Just a spare box, just for the method of cooling. Just for information, and I think that way people won't cheat, except for some guys but they'd cheat anyway. Quote
Tazzler Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 Yeah, something like that! What do you think? Quote
Sadhiq Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 or better, a multiple choice box with only some answer: -aircooled -watercooled -waterchilled -phase change -ln² If it's purely informational, I think this way should be really easier, one box for cpu and another for gpu Quote
K404 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 What about aircon cascade and Dice a fair few "air" results on XS recently just happened to have the mother of all aircon units hanging over them.... Quote
Saucy Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Should there be an option to check labeled "stock" ? And rather than boxes to check, I think a dropdown menu will be more practical. Lets See: Stock Air Water Chilled Water Peltier (TEC) Phase Change Air Conditioning Dry Ice Liquid Nitrogen Lives in Antarctica I guess that about covers it. Quote
Tazzler Posted January 19, 2007 Author Posted January 19, 2007 multiple choice would make the selection box easier to fill out, and more likely to be used, but how will you configure VGA/CPU? use 2 boxes, one for each? OK, that's a great idea! Would be really nice. Quote
