As far as the TridentX fins, yes, actually. I mean, they're not going to cut you if you just brush by them but if you put pressure on it or maybe accidentally fall on your RAM you could hurt yourself a little bit. They're not for cuddling. If it's a concern for you, the red part is removable. Just take one of the screws out on either side and slide them off.
