Massman Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Hey all, Just wanted to open a thread to give you the tools to use to "replicate" that 7.93G frequency record of NickShih. According to Nick, two tools are needed: - PSCheck 3.4.1: download - 1.02V bios: download - 1.02S bios: download - 1.02R bios: download - 1.02D bios: download Use PSCheck to lower the frequency and voltage in idle mode ~ similar to the LN2 mode on the Gigabyte board. Then set the overclock and use PSCheck to set to P0 state for high clock. Figure out which of the 4 cores are clocking the highest. Here's a PSCheck tutorial for novice users. Just FYI ... //edit: Here's HKEPC's video tutorial (with asus board, but principle is of course the same) Quote
Massman Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 Just got this new LN2 Bios for the Extreme6 motherboard: 1.02R bios (download) Changelog: - switching frequency is available - master power mode for GPU ocp disabled - added CPU core selection Quote
Massman Posted January 23, 2013 Author Posted January 23, 2013 Uploaded new BIOS: - 1.02V bios: download Changelog: - Vdimm limit is unlock to 2.0 volt - Larger OCP value for PWM Quote
NoMS Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 (edited) Bumping the thread... There isn't an updated LN2 bios with Richland and IOMMU support (like newer P2.10 bios)? For FM2A85X Extreme 6 of course. Thanks! Edited May 16, 2013 by NoMS Quote
